I loved the game, but don't buy into the hype.

For me, it was just unexpected.  I had no knowledge of the game until I played it.  The game has a lot of style and personality.  The music is great.  The gameplay is fun.

If you go into it expecting some game of the gen experience you'll be sorely disappointed.
