Cousins is going to get 25 mil a year and 100 guaranteed from the 49ers. Good luck to him. Bruce Allen should be fired for his mishandling of the situation (and the team in general) and the way Scott was treated. For me Cousins is a lower top 10 QB and we should have signed him to a deal 2 years ago, now its just too much. There's a great crop of QB's in next year's draft but unfortunately there's already at least 2 teams tanking for them so unless we put another RG3 package together (please god no) maybe we'll end up with someone like Jimmy G or hope that the middling options in round 1 are startable.

Jimmy G is going to cost at least a first rounder. So, meh. I'm hoping they fire Bruce and bring Scott back in. He already said he'd come back if the circumstances were right (although he didn't say it, many see it as Bruce being fired). I mean, Redskins used his draft board to a T in this years draft lol.

QBs I'd put ahead of Kirk: Tom brady, Joe Flacco, Big Ben, Andrew Luck, Derek Carr, Phillip Rivers, Aaron Rodgers, Matt Stafford, Drew Brees, Cam Newton, Matt Ryan, and Russel Wilson.

I know you're a Giants fan, but right now, can't put Eli ahead of him. Although Dak has a much easier offense to succeed in, I think Kirk is better. I think after this season Jameis will be ahead of Kirk for me. So ya, I'd agree he's not a top 10 qb.

playing dmc 4 made me realize how bad I am playing hack and slash games. It's a fun game but I hate how you can't use those red orbs to unlock new skills/abilities. Darksiders you could though.

Eli is old, but at least he's done some shit to get the rope he gets.

Kirk's fine, in the sense that when he's well coached he's accurate, he throws passes on time. But he's routinely been exposed when he's had to match up against tougher defenses or actually go blow for blow with a one of the top tier QB's on their A game. In fact the only one he has beaten is Aaron Rodgers, and that's because the Packers defense couldn't stop shit last year.

He's like a better Andy Dalton/Alex Smith as far as passing. For the most part he does a really good job of not devastating the team, and can keep the offense on track. And the Dickskins have enough fire power that he can look really good in some games, but top 10 QB?

Even the inconsistent cats show greater upside, with having less to work with. Cam won MVP throwing to fucking Ted Ginn of all people.

Argument against him being a top 10 QB that is based in fact? Cousins had a mad season chasing games with a crap def (opposite of Eli who was trying to lose games with a great def). There was minimal garbage time padding those stats.

For me he's just in that capable mid tier. Good QB's make WR's better, I don't think Flacco does that.

Why am I going to take something away from Cam? That's an idiotic argument. Cam is a double threat, and has never come close to having the weapons Kirk has had to work with.

Cam's won a playoff game and played in the superbowl. Kirk hasn't. Flacco won a superbowl, routinely plays big in the playoffs to boot. And again recently they've had line troubles, mediocre receivers, no real running game since Ray Rice beat his wife.

Stats are cute, if you want to win fantasy games. But so far in real games. Kirk has only been able to look good if you look at the box score. Actually watching him play, and he's only okay. All the other QB's that got name dropped have upside that your boy doesn't have and have produced in a way your boy hasn't yet.

He's a top 10 guy for regular season wins? When 7 Quarterbacks have won superbowls, 3 of which have won multiple superbowls, 9 QBs have played in the superbowl, Like 10 of them have either won MVPs or were MVP candidates, and your boy hasn't come close to any of those things. He hasn't recorded 1 season where he's led a team to 10 wins. Derek Carr did that last year. Cam's done it multiple times now. So has Flacco. So has Russel. So has Ryan. So has Stafford.

I mean I think it's funny that dickskins fans suddenly want to bring up stats, when it was Tony Romo, he was clearly overrated and a bum. I mean it didn't matter that Romo was doing far better, with far less, and accomplished more in the same amount of time lol. Top 10? For what exactly?

Kirk could get better (especially since we will lose some really good older QBs soon), but don't read me some stat sheet parade when he's been throwing to Desean Jackson, Pierce Garcon, Jordan Reed, has had a good line, and the lone division he won was against a really shitty NFC East, right before they got exposed by a banged up Packers team. And when homeboy, during a game when the dickskins absolutely needed this dude to make some plays, against a really good defense (The giants) he shrunk. At home no less.

He could be a top 10 guy (and the dickskins are stupid to let him go if they don't at least tag him). He could also be the third best QB in his own division in a few years with Dak n Carson Wentz already showing promise.

There is zero evidence of Kirk making any wr better, so how is he a good QB? Desean n Pierre Garcon had good years prior to ever playing with Kirk. Jordan Reed was a fast tight end who played big for Florida, **** yah had Vernon Davis last year. He is a freak of nature as far as being that big while being that fast.

So even if we go by your logic, he isn't a good QB, so how is he top 10 again besides how cute he looks on a fantasy team?

As for WR Garcon really was unspectacular when he Peyton in his prime throwing to him (he never reached 1000 yards and only once had over 800). We'll see how DeSean does in Tampa and compare.

Why take away cam's legs? Because no NFL QB can year after year run that much and last year it showed (granted the refs let him get anhilated). Last year Cam was so so bad.

I'm not claiming Cousins is a superstar. I'd have him behind Brady, Brees, Rodgers, Wilson, Luck, Rivers. I think he's in the same bracket as Stafford, Big Ben (injury/fitness concerns, poor away, dominant at home), Cam (is he healthy, can he stay healthy), Dak (can he reproduce form o last year?), Carr (Raiders got lucky last, I think he and them regress alot with a weaker def and a MUCH tougher schedule) and Winston. I'd have him ahead of Eli (Twilight of his career and Cousins has never had a weapon like OBJ or a defense) and Dalton and Flacco and those other mid QB's.

Luck has won playoff games (plural). Luck doesn't play with a star studded cast of defenders. Luck plays behind a bad offensive line. Luck has 1 actual receiver that is good, and that's TY Hilton. Andrew Luck is being held down by the Indianapolis Colts. So no the comparison with him n Kirk doesn't fly. Yeah Philip has 3, that's still something. But he's beaten Peyton Manning, twice in the playoffs. He played an AFC title game on a torn ACL. He's also had monster years throwing to guys named ajiratutu. Again you're sort of missing the point here. Philip Rivers lost a hall of fame coach, for Norv fucking Turner thanks to his shit heel management.

How unspectacular was Garcon? He was an undrafted player that got 700 yards on an offense that featured Reggie Wayne (a hall of famer), and Dallas Clark (who was an allpro tier tight end), so he was option 3 on that offense. And he balled. He was Peyton's home run shot, and was a beast in the playoffs for him. Putting up 150 on Rex Ryan's jets defense in the AFC title game. He had well over a 1000 yards when Robert Griffin The Turd was throwing him the ball. He was close to a 1000 yards with Kerry Collins (old ass Kerry Collins) and Dan I ran out of the back of my own endzone Orlovsky was throwing him the ball the year Peyton didn't play.

Why would we compare older Desean? Are you high? Desean was a 1000 yard receiver with Chunky McNabb, with Kolb, with Michael Vick, and Cousins. 4 different QBs, none of them are exactly hall of famers. He was good, before Cousins. He's limited as a receiver, but he's clearly good.

And Im not arguing Cam will last, but I'm not gonna just cherry pick a pro from Cam to take away. Cam was MVP of the league throwing well over 30 touchdowns while his go to targets were Greg Olson (who is good) and fucking Ted Ginn (who is a bust). Your boy damn near threw 5000 yards last year, but only found the endzone 25 times? That means he tends to move the ball a lot, but not actually put up a lot of points. Which they are outside the top 10 in points scored last year, but were like 3rd in yards from scrimmage last year. Cam's accomplished more. This is a fact.

Stafford has won over 10 games multiple times in his career. Has never had a run game outside the half season he got out of Jahvid Best. Literally proved he can still ball without Megatron. He hasn't won a playoff game tho, and hasn't done shit against good teams, so fair knock. But I'd take Stafford. He can make throws Cousins can only dream of making. And at the least I've seen what he looks like when he doesn't have MegaTron. For now.

Big Ben has 2 rings, has played behind awful offensive lines at different points of his career. They aren't even comparable. Ben's played well in some big games, in the cold no less. Ben was playing big games against the Ravens when they were a top tier team in the AFC. He's the weakest of the great Qbs, but he's among the great QBs of the league.

I would put him on the lower end of the bracket below guys like Carr. And honestly I'd feel safer betting on Dak, Mariotta, Wentz, n Winston, before I'd feel safe picking Cousins.

I'd rather have Flacco. He's had gutter trash to work with the last few years, he's overpaid as ****, but a healthy Flacco with the weapons n system Cousins have and I don't see the Dickskins being worse. And again give me the guy who balled the **** out when it was crunch time versus the guy who hasn't done shit yet.

So he doesn't make receivers better, I don't really think anyone can argue he's supremely talented physically among his peers, and his peers have happened to do more in bigger and more important games. I'm not saying Dickskins shouldn't pay him, he might continue to improve.. But, top 10? He doesn't even pass your own "make the receivers better" critieria. Which by the way good Qb's don't do that, I'd argue is something only great QB's do.

Brady, Rodgers, Peyton....maybe Brees make receivers better than they actually are. And even that says more about the type of offenses they run, more so than how good/bad the receiver is.

I've been bringing up that point with him putting up a shit load of yards but not scoring for a while. That's what the teams he leads do. 5k but only 25 frigging TDs and 12 INTs is not good to me.

And check out how many actual winnings teams he's beat. Hint: not many. The guy had a chance to beat the Cardinals last year and what does he do? Throws a pick end the game. He had a chance to beat a Giant team that took out many of its starters and what does he do? Throw a pick to end the game.

I'd love for him to stay but not at the expense of not strengthening our already lacking defense.

The problem is QB play is such a premium. The game is swung too far in their favor post lock-out, and there is no guarantee Washington will get a QB as good/better. Even if they try the king's ransom for a high draft pick, and even that is a gamble because there are very few polished products like Luck.
