I thought the fanboys were making this myth up. I've called 10 places atleast: Walmarts, Best Buys, Ebs, Gamestops,targets and still can't find a Wii. How can I find one within a reasonable amount of time?
I know this Sunday Target is getting shipments. You should go there before they open and line up if you want to get one in time. There was another store that was getting them this Sunday. I think it was Circuit City, but I'm not 100% sure. Good luck finding one.
Hahahahaha. Thought they were making it up. I have several friends in different states that can't find a Wii to save their life. They aren't willing to line up, though, so that might be part of it.
Wow Nintendo must be selling a lot of Wiis. Won't be surprised if they sold over 5million already.hojobojo

Thats one reason the Wii is so popular. No one can find one. And as humans, we want what we can't have or find. Another reason you can't find one is probably your local Best-Buys, Walmarts, etc. are keeping them all in the back of the store so that the employees can get them while they're still hot (that what my local Game Stop does...no idea how they're still in buisness)
I've been trying to get a Wii every weekend since launch. STILL haven't been able to get one. In my city they sell out IMMEDIATELY. If you want a PS3 though, you can just saunter in and get one.

At this point, I think that it's a near certainty that the Wii will be the best selling console this generation. I mean really it's sold 4-5 times what the PS3 has sold and close to half of what the 360 has sold in under a third of the time
Nintendo has shipped out Wii's to stores. However, this Sunday will be a launch day a lot of stores, Toys R Us will have at least 25 for each store. I don't even like the Wii, but you can't deny that every shipment sells out.

Console game sales over an entire generation are measured in the tens of millions, not just millions. You're jumping to a conclusion far too early.

your best bet is to go to walmart when they get their shipsments, i got 2 wii's from them. and guess how much i paid? less than i would have for 1 ps3.i bought 2 wii's zelda and red steel, and a 2 yr warranty on both of them and i only paid 637.00 dollars, if i wanted to buy a ps3 w/60gig drive one game and a 1 yr warranty i would be spending well over 700 bucks.
I know how you feel, I didnt think the wii would be a hit in the UK, but every single time a shipment has come in, they have been gone in the same hour. (Seriously)
