Hellblade News!!

Ninja Theory’s Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice has been in the works for a while. Like, a long while. However, the developer says that it will be releasing this after missing its last major release date (aka 2016).

On Twitter, Ninja Theory was asked by a fan if the game would be out in 2017. It replied, “Yes! We’re really looking forward to sharing #Hellblade with you all. The support has been amazing.”

While Hellblade has been the subject of some pretty amazing technology including motion capture, facial animation and cinematics, it hasn’t made many strides in the development department. Originally scheduled to release in 2016 after having been announced in 2014, Hellblade was delayed to 2017 when it failed to release last year.

Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice is currently in development for PS4 and PC. Are you still interested in playing it despite all the delays? Let us know in the comments and stay tuned for more information.

This is great news, because they have been very quiet about this game for some time now. It go to know it is still coming out and this year.

Pumped about this game. Gonna get it on day one for Microsoft Windows, even though it's only a timed exclusive for the PS4. I don't want to wait for the Xbox One date to be announced. NO PATIENCE! DAY ONE definitive version for me!

I'm looking forward to Hellblade, but they seriously need to bring out some news.

I know, we hardly hear anything about this game. If it is not out before E3, maybe we can get some gameplay vids or onstage play.

Mildly interested to see what Ninja Theory wants to do in terms of all the mental illness stuff they were pitching with this game, only mildly because as far as the gameplay is concerned in their game, it's usually trash. Even Capcom could only bring their sus ass gameplay to slightly above average, and that was still an insult to Devil May Cry.

I'm very excited for this game, one of my most anticipated game along with Persona 5, Prey, RDR 2. Hopefully they won't delay it again. I'm hungry to hear, see more about this game.

It's strange because this is self published so they basically decide themselves what they want to show or not... Which as of now hasn't been much.

I've only seen this one gameplay video on a bridge leading to a tower, it showed some of the combat which looked really interesting.

But Ninja Theory should show more faith in their own game and show it off more :)

That combat looked interesting? It was literally slash, roll and block. Now, if they added more, it might be interesting, but as it was, it looked pretty crappy.

even if it does, there's plenty of quality stuff to play on the ps4. same can't be said about the bone. Not only is there a serious lack of anything on the Bone, but MS is also all about canning the very little they have.

They better not complain about sales relative to the high production values that they tend to throw into their games, because I think I can see where this one is headed with whoever the **** they're trying to market this self published game to. Nevermind how anal gamers are about game length and price tag.

Ah well, hope the game is decent. I had fun with DmC. Enslaved turned out to be better than the demo they put out, it was decent.

Well, I wouldn't be surprised. They have closed all their own studios...they might just close this studio too, even though it's not theirs.

Does your hate of MS only extend as far as the Xbox? You know it's coming to PC as well? I am aware that it's through Steam but there is no mention of it running on anything other than Windows.

I recommend subscribing to Ninja Theorys youtube channel. They do a pretty good job of keeping you up to date with updates. Pretty dope. I've even seen some gameplay here and there.

The last I checked the gameplay sucked so no for me until they show something compelling.

I know the developer made heavenly sword, which was a game I loved. And I can see similar style in this game.

I said console exclusive, as if there's in only one console and on PC. The Quad is just destroying the xbone at this point with exclusives and console exlcusives because the xbone is practically irrelevant right now.
