With Persona 5 now also coming to PS4, I don't have much of a reason to keep my PS3. What about you, SW? Still playing last gen consoles?

Hell NO! I spend more time with my PS3 than with my PS4 actually. Currently I'm beating and loving every second of Ni No Kuni. I still have plenty to play from last gen. Hell I still have a copy of Killer7 waiting for me to play on the PS2. Dont know why some named "gamers" never go back to previews gens and play some gems...
Well I know Pc gaming doesn't technically have gens, but considering I own a card that's 3 years old, it's effectively a last gen card, and so, I'm not exactly playing games as they are on PS4. But I haven't used my PS3 for playing games in possibly a year or so, and I'm getting a new gpu this month, which effectively will put me in gen 8.
Nope. I am still snatching up Wii games at Gamestop. Recently bought Metroid Prime Trilogy, Kirby Dream Collection, House of the Dead 2 & 3, and Cursed Mountain. Having a blast. Also bought the Mario and Luigi Wii motion plus Wii-motes.
I'm not rebuying all my PS3 games as remasters on PS4. It's simply not happening. I'm keeping my PS3 for various games that I've really enjoyed that I'm not going to rebuy. For instance, I already rebought Tomb Raider and The Last of Us. The only other games I'm willing to do so on would be an Uncharted collection. The rest can stay on my PS3.
No, I have all three next gen consoles, but I still play my Xbox 360 more than all of them because most of my friends are still on Xbox 360 and I still have a backlog to finish.
I don't think I'll ever get rid of my Xbox 360 since I have way too many great games for it. I sold my Wii only because the Wii U was backwards compatible with it; otherwise I probably would have kept that console forever as well and I still go into Wii mode on my Wii U to play Mario Kart and some virtual console games once in a while. I haven't touched my PS3 in many months and if they ever release remastered Uncharted and God of War collections on PS4, I would then have no need for my PS3 anymore and would sell it.
no cuz im still holding out in buying a PS4.
im stilll playing games on my PS3. None of the online communities have die like i thought they were going to cuz of the PS4.
I still get great games from PSN+ which are games i wanted to try but didnt feel like buying.
Im still gonna keep my PS3 forever tho.
Not even close. I have loads of game left to play on my PS3. Furthermore I can't even afford a next-gen console right now anyway but that doesn't matter because I really don't want one either. So far no console have really showed enough interesting games for me to invest in one.
No, still buying new releases and replaying older games. Doing a MGS runthrough of the entire series before 5 so I got the collection and 4 to play through along with KH2.5, ToX2 and Tales of Zestiria next year. I've also been tempted to borrow a friend's 360 to see how Tales of Vesperia holds up against current Tales games. And of course I still replay other games on the regular, thinking of finally going back for that Demon Souls and Yakuza 4 platinums.
I still play SNES/N64/PS2/GC games on the regular as well.
Hell no. I just got Spec-ops the Line for $4.50 from the xbox live sale. There are still games I want to play like Rayman Legends, State of Decay, Army of Two the 40th Day, Assassins Creed Black Flag, Ridge Racer Unbounded, and many others.
That would mean giving up on a shit ton of games. The mentality of some of the users on this board astounds me.

don't know who you're referring to, but I've had my ps3 since 2008. have pretty much played what I wanted to.
Back log is too long and too many great games to move to only current gen, indie heavy consoles at this point.
Still have to get around to playign Demon's Souls. But since i'm finishing DS2, i'm not in the mood for more Souls for the next months.
I also any kind of gens years

And you are basically saying that you will never feel the need revisit them.
I'll be hanging onto my PS3 pretty much until I've either played every good free game that will show up on PS Plus, or they stop providing free games for it on PS Plus.
I don't play graphics on consoles, so I'm not sure why everyone was so eager to move onto next gen. Last gen games are still great games and look at least as nice as one console's (Wii U) current gen games. They're not technically deficient to the point of hindering gameplay. I'm in the minority that didn't even think we really needed new non-BC consoles, but we've got them now so yay?
@charizard1605: enjoy waiting!
I have a PS Vita, 3DS, Wii U, and PS4, do you really think I'm not used to it already?
There are very few games I actually care for anymore lol. So waiting for them comes naturally when you don't care for 90% of the stuff being released.
I have a 3DS and PSvita. The Playstation 4 and Wii U, Once I get the Xbox One I will have a full set of 8th Generation machines. But I always keep my consoles. So yes and no. I will enjoy 8th,7th,6th,5th,4th,3rd Generation of consoles.
But I am a collector so I never give up on generations.
@charizard1605: The only games I still care about from PS3 are the MGS HD collection. But I already can play MGS2, 3, and Peace Walker on my Vita. So that leaves 4, which I really hope they remaster.

I actually didn't even like MGS4, so I'm in the clear there ;P
