Every SP CoD since modern warfare. Battlefield 3 SP. Generally single player shooters because most modern fps games last in the region of 5 hours for the single player game (more often that not on Hard).

Can also add Halo 1, 2 and 3, Gears 1,2 and 3 two player coop :)

I've never done it with a legacy game, but I've done it a couple times with some modern games. Journey and LIMBO, for instance, though they're very short. The only somewhat longer game I've ever beaten in one sitting was Mirror's Edge. I think it was a Friday night, and I had just finished some massive graduate school paper, and was just like "meh, what the hell?" and did it.

I don't think so. The closest I came was finishing episodes of a game in one sitting (TWD).

First one I played was Star Wars Rebel Assault 2 and the most recent in memory was Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3. I borrowed it from a friend in the dorms and I beat it in a single sitting.

@jun_aka_pekto: Didn't mean for it to come of as serious, just feel the need to point the "I have a life" comment whenever I see it as its funny to see used when discussing things over the internet. This is whether its games or anything else, always find it entertaining so no offense taken.

A few times but not recently.

I did halo 1-3 in one sitting, same goes for legendary in one sitting. Lots of retro games had to be done in one sitting. :P

Beyond Good & Evil, Batman Arkham Asylum (12 hours continuous. Also got all the riddler trophies), Brothers - A Tale of Two Sons and Broken Age Act 1.

The above are all first time playthroughs.

God, no. I can only play a game for a little more than two hours before I get tired of playing and want to do something else. I just can't get into that zone that a lot of people can get into.

I've probably beaten Super Metroid and Symphony of the Night in a single sitting over 50 times each. Maybe even more.

When it comes to "first times" I can only say I ever beat Mirror's Edge in a single sitting. It was 5.5 hours of my life I will never forget. One of the most visceral gaming experiences I've ever had to this day.

And while not a "single" sitting, I beat Okami in 36 hours over a 72 hour period. Blasted through it.

Too many to count, but I'll just list the ones I beat my very first time playing them.

SMB3

Ninja Gaiden II (NES)

Castlevania III (this was one brutal sitting)

Punchout (NES)

MGS2... pulled an all nighter and that AI really started fucking with me towards the end.

Gone Home (lol)

.. all I can think of for now.

Panzer Dragoon on the Sega Saturn. It was short. It was only an hour and a half long.

Well, technically, yes. Games like Kirby and Super Mario Land for Gameboy can be completed in like an hour or two. But longer games, both old and new, I have yet to do so, nor do I plan to either. I have the attention span of a rock, so even if a game is super enjoyable I can only play it for 2-3 hours at a time max.

Yes, this is how we used to play games before saves were an option. Examples include NES, SNES, Sega Genesis. After 3DO, PS1, Saturn and onward...no I have not completed a game in one sitting.

Actually I lied I completed RE2 on PS1 in one sitting to unlock extras

Super Mario 3, but I had strategy guide and used whistles to jump around.

Super Mario Bros 3, maybe? Super Mario World as well if you count the Star Road shortcut.

Aside from that, nope. I've had extended play sessions, but I could never finish an entire game in one siting.

well... just something to consider: all the arcade games I listed as 1 credit clears, are actually a total of 15-30 minutes long. For the most part - to achieve the 1CC - I usually enter 1 credit every few days (most times before work) which would amount to roughly an hour of play a week.

It typically isn't until I notice progress and I get to stage 5 (or whatever the last stage is) consistently before I start sinking in an hour or two every few days for multiple clear attempts.

Heavy Rain is the only game I ever finished in one sitting, it only took a few hours but I've replayed it plenty sice then. I finished the original Bioshock in two sittings however, as it turned out to be alot shorter than I'd imagined.
