Just like Sony and the slimline PS2. People that want to spend $400 for an HDMI port are welcome to it. I don't see MS forcing people to "upgrade". The bigger rip-off is a $600 gaming console that doesn't have any great games to play on it. And games that come out 10 months to two years from now do not make me want to run out and buy a PS3 right now. A year from now? Maybe.

How would this be any different from a price cut?
It isn't, a bunch of little kids would be pissed because their 360 doesn't have HDMI when I'm just betting less than 2% of them have 1080p compatible through HDMI TV's.
