Youll find that the term Generic, when applied to video games usualy means easily forgettable. So i wouldnt even put Final Fantasy in the same sentence as the word generic. Start a conversation with any true fan of the RPG genre, and they can pretty much relate the story of any final fantasy to you event by event. But i would agree about halo being generic. I dont know how people fooled themselves into thinking Halo was the second coming. same goes for GeOW. Great Graphics, terribly generic everything else.

To be honest, Dragon Ball set the standard for similarly themed anime. Without it, I doubt that series like One Piece, Naruto and Yu Yu Hakusho would have been made. All of the creators of those series cited DB as being a huge inspiration.

Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball GT are very generic. But calling Dragon Ball Z a generis anime is pushing it bub.....:evil:

It may be generic but that doesn't stop it from being a great game and one of the best FPSs on a console.

Didn't they already release the whole series on DVD?

Also, I know that Funimation have their own network. They must have just transferred the series to their network.

But I think it was renewed. I was flipping channels one day, and seen a Yu Yu hakusho where everyone is fully grown. But it may have been a movie too though......

You could say the same for any game. MGS 4 is just another stealth game. Gears is just another shooter. Final Fantasy is just another RPG in a long line of rpgs. But that's a major oversimplification.
