After seeing the Halo Infinite campaign running at 4K/60fps on a PC with Series X specs, I can only imagine how bad it'll look running at 120fps but what about the Xbox One S version?

Will they be able to hit 120fps on that too and if not, will they still be able to support cross-play? And if so, wouldn't that give Series X owners a big advantage?

Thoughts...

No, it will not be 120fps on Series S. Heck I'll be surprised if they have a 120fps mode for Series X.

Maybe they will have separate servers for MP. Maybe they won't. I'm sure they can make it work however they like.

Sure 120fps is better, but it's not going to make a much of a difference when you're using a wireless controller on a TV.

Not a big deal I'd say.

Infinite will probably run 1080p dynamic (sits mostly closer 720p-800p), unstable 60 FPS on it.

Yeah but how can they implement cross-play with those kind of numbers? It'll give Series X owners a huge advantage nonetheless PC owners.
