So far it seems like hackers have payed no interest in the online services offered to consoles... but it looks like times are changing now.

I didn't know it was this big.. I thought it was mostly because of account sharing to help gain gamerpoints.

It still blows my mind that people would pay for online gaming. It's very nature is that it is a risk. Anything with TCP/IP should be looked at as comprimisable.
