Some quick steps to make a succesful 360/PS3 game

1- Use only shades of brown or gray (Any use of primary colors must be minimal).

2- Lots of guns.

3- A chainsaw is a must have (Add one to a gun and you have a GOTY contender for sure).

4- Zombies, Aliens and/or Nazis.

5- Lots of blood

6- Lead character must be military, muscular ,homoerotic and bald.

After these six easy steps you can start counting the money....

Ratchet has the weapons I guess and the aliens ...... so I think can still play it. I won't like the bightly colored look , the googly-eyed weird looking characters , or the lack of blood , but I will give it a shot.

I'm really sick of developers using the 'post-apocalyptic' BS as an excuse to make games devoid of color. Seriously, Killzone 2...the sky was burnt or something, basically just so they didn't have to make a decent skybox.

Ratchet and Clank is an amazing series. It has humor, decent story, tight gameplay and it looks awesome. If you can't appreciate that, you must not like many games.

Sorry, last I looked, Halo has the most vibrant and varied color palette out of all the FPSs. Not only that, but it's also lacking in A LOT of blood, chainsaws, and bald homoerotic, muscular military men.
