I'm thinking $500. Due to improvements in production and such. Gotta remember theses graphics cards have a huge mark up. The true costs of the gtx 980/1080 could be as low as $150, MS could have made a deal guaranteeing X number will be purchased which would drop the price possibly further to $100.

So what are your guesses on the retail price of the Scorpio?

499.99 for sure. Anything higher would be laughable. GPUs are over 10tflops now. In two years we will be looking at near 15tflops.

Xbox One S will take a $50 hit on both models, 500gb to $249.99, 1tb to $299, and the Xbox Scorpio will launch for $499 with a 2TB SSHD.

$550-$600. Premium wording makes me think its got to be expensive compared to xbox one s. They are marketing it for the hardcore/vr crowd.

Just dont see how it would be much of a premium if its closer in price to xbox one s.

With the production prices of the technology dropping, its hard to see it being any more than $499. I would be surprised if it was any more or any less. $449 and they would sell like hotcakes.

You won't see it under $549.99. If Sony drops the price of their Neo, Scorpio will go for $550. If Sony doesn't drop the price, i see Scorpio going for $599 np.

Microsoft needs to make the new version cheap. Make it $399 so that PS4K might take a big hit.

$499 seems most likely. Maybe $400 to $450 if they are willing to lose money on hardware to gain market share. Microsoft knows that it will be DOA if they try to sell it for more than $500.

$599.99 I bet they try and say the type S is for the poor.. and since it plays all the scorpio games they don't need to drop the price. It won't be less than $499.99 and thats only if Neo prices there.

NEO Option B with better CPU and 5.5 TFLOPS GPU has $499 estimate.

Both Sony and MS has the same AMD road maps.

There's already a thread on this, with plenty of posts discussing the topic.
