Yes GTA V is 6 years old. But it still retails for $30 on most stores, so it still counts as a huge get for Xbox Game Pass, especially now with cloud gaming support on your phone.

Also, Zombie Army 4: Dead War, NHL 21 and of course, MLB The Show 21.

Xbox Game Pass continues to deliver the goods.

I find it ironic several months ago on EGS, GTAV was free to download for PC but really, GTAV should have already be on Game Pass and not this late.

It has been on GP already. But it left and now it's back.

Recycling games that have already been on there. Good for new subscribers I guess. Wish they just left the games on there permanently and build up their library to PS Now size.

Tired of this game. I have a friend who still plays it though because he refuses to move on to newer video games

I think this is a great get from Xbox. GTA V biggest population has always been on PC and PS4 and Sony has a marketing deal where PS+ users get 1mil each month till GTAV PS5 ver which I think they need to pay to upgrade (maybe not, idk). This definitely will sway a lot of parents buying their kids to maybe getting the last gen Series S with Gamepass. Game is still selling I mean its no.2 highest selling game last year behind CoD.

Played it on the 360, then the PS4, and then the PC... I've yet to even complete the story. This game's like the village bicycle at this point.

Aren't they giving it out free this month for Live subscribers also? Kinda lame for GPU subscribers if so.

@StrongDeadlift: Last time I check, PS Plus is releasing new games too. Combined with PS Now and actual AAA exclusives releasing this year, it's surprising Lems keep pretending they're winning something.

Sony is getting pinched, they underestimated how many people actually like playing older games, their business model is based on the next big exclusive, Microsoft seeing continued value of older stuff through a pay service is going to destroy the Sony business model and force Sony to do the same. And truthfully Sony's library is in my opinion superior to Xbox's, its going to be interesting to see how Sony responds, if Microsoft keeps moving at this clip Playstation could be a dead company walking.

It seems Xbox users are able to have it both ways which is far better, We're getting great classic games and also new games day 1.

I'm one of the few smart people here who never touched this game, and never will.

GTA 6 should of been released years ago. The amount of money they are making from GTA online is insane. Rockstar are definitely thinking why make a new GTA when we are still making millions from online services.

There are rumors that GTA six has been in development for a while now, but I do not believe it because it is not from a official source.
