Rockstar said: "Grand Theft Auto V for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC features hundreds of additions and enhancements including 1080p resolution at 30fps on PS4 and Xbox One."

Meanwhile, the PC version of GTA V will support 4K resolution.

The PC had mods for it on GTA4 but it was never quite right. This is from R* themselves, this is built directly into the game.

I posted this rumor a long time ago and it had me hyped....the rumor was shot down but now that it's real, I am all in ( PC version ).

I was one of those who shot it down, imagine my surprise seeing this on IGN. GTA V does look fantastic in first person.

Yeah, I wasn't going to replay this but now that this is legit I want to play it again. It's almost feels like a new game lol.

so it's official, every remaster/remake is better, and brings more, than the Last of Us's one. smh Sony money grabbing the hell out of cows.

While the driving and flying in first person look really cool, the shooting looks half assed... Which for Rockstar is really, really surprising.

The gun model is just way too close to the screen and on top of that doesn't look very detailed. Like it's a zoom in from third person model (which of course it is, but that shouldn't be used in an FPS)

There is no sprinting animation. The gun just disappears and reappears.

I dunno... Am I the only one expecting more from Rockstar ?

I'm not usually a giant GTA fan, but I'll absolutely jump on a 1st person GTA @1440p. That's gunna be a heck of an experience.

I hope we can change the FoV to 120 degrees or so. And Rift support.......

Nice feature. But I've already played and beat this...I don't want anymore GTA in my life right now.

I would just use FP for the driving. 3rd person is fine for shooting.

Not surprsing since graphically that looked very similar to the ps3 version just a much with higher res, view distance, etc.

I understand but some were saying it was even too weak for that.

Also, first person mode is nice and all. But where are the damn heists? Couldn't have taken them a year to implement 1st person mode... A modder could have done that within weeks...

Meh, I prefer to play in third person honestly. It's a cool addition, but that didn't get me excited. I played that game way too much lol
