There is nothing but wasted potential with Ryse because Crytek aint doing shat with it and wouldn't sell the IP to MS. The game that was made proved a FPS dev wasn't capable of making a great action hack n slash. Sell the fvckin IP and let somebody try.
Ryse is a phenomenal looking game. Decent for a single playthrough, but in terms of scale, and just about everything else, GoW has it beat. Not a bad thing, considering they are wildly different in terms of scope.

Geesh God Of War looks great. It doesn't need to be the best looking game. There are so many amazing looking games I am still amazed people still argue about this shit.

This only makes me wanna rage at the situation where CryTek's no longer pushing crazy graphics. If anything they should've learned how to create more crazy looking scalable games.
The wood shader for the house and the inside the temple of Ryse look superior.
I dislike some of the color themes of God of War. It's like they puked random colors on some areas.

Ryse is one hell of a crap game but damn it sure looks amazing. But even the PC buffed up version loses to PS4's runner up graphics king. I say GoW looks better and has bigger linear scale. Graphics havent advanced much, Driveclub still the best looking racing game in the world. Dont even mention the true graphics king Horizon ZD.
