I have a feeling this was the plan all along. So- ”we believe in generations” -ny just tried to pad the launch lineup by pretending otherwise. Aaand nextgen exclusives will have to wait to 2023?

I never expected the new GoW this year. They showed off a logo which tells me minimum of at least a year away.

The delay isn’t as shocking as a 2022 PS4 game. Maybe God of War 2026 will fully utilize the power of the PS5...

Anyways, it's completely expected that it was going to be delayed and considering console availability it's understandable that they rather have a larger install base for a game that should be a huge investment.

But damn, the constant self ownage is just too funny 🤣

He does believe in it. But he also believes in making money off of PS4 gamers and then porting to PC for one last pull on the teat to make sure they get maximum profit. It just means everyone gets to play the games.

Not surprising really. It’s been pretty quiet on the God of War front so I wasn’t expecting it to come out this year. Not surprised at the cross gen support either. Personally I have no qualms with cross gen and think that it’s a good call to support that in the first couple of years of a new generation console’s life. Apparently Gran Turismo 7 will be cross gen as well.

Who thought it was even gonna be released this year? Even I knew it wasn't going to make it this year much less, it never had an official release date to begin with.

Now imagine if Xbox was ready for this generation. Imagine if they had hardware production ready, and were a year or two further along with the production of their games. It would be a bloodbath.

This is all AMD’s fault. Overselling RDNA 2 features cost Xbox millions of units...

Pedro is implying that those games such as Returnal and Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart might come to PC as Jim Ryan hinted so that's the angle Pedro is saying and as a PC gamer, I always welcome Sony games with open arms🤗

After seeing games run in 60 fps on PS5, I won't ever go back. You can't truly grasp how much it changes gameplay until you see it in person, but it really makes a big difference.

None of the PS5 exclusives so far require the huge budget that comes with useless performance capture and acting that comes with the likes of TLOU and GoW etc.

With low sales of those two games ^ Sony will probably put them on PS4 as well.

Sony pretended it would be released in 2021. They lied because they knew how easy it would be to ”delay” the game later.

AMDs GPU tech is garbage. They over promise and under deliver every time. At least the CPU side seems to be hitting their stride. The Jag CPU held us hostage for far too long. But Xbox held off on Series X/S production because they were waiting on AMD. All the RDNA 2 stuff wasn’t quite ready. PlayStation decided not to wait and we see what that’s done for production numbers...

If Xbox had better stock available, they’d be in a great spot with PlayStation out here screwing the pooch left and right

Nah bro! Xbox software wasn't ready independent of the delayed on AMD feature set for RDNA 2. Most of the DX12U features have not been supported in many games even though Nvidia debut most of the tech over two years ago.
