I wonder if there will be a secret weapon in this one as in the last 😁? I will be down for the hammer of Thor, or the Nemean cestus. They would be so awesome for this new heavier God of War.
Looks like more of the same which is cool by me.
So basically GoW 2.0 same recycled environments bosses are people coming back for round 2 on this crap?
While i am very happy to see a trailer with actual gameplay, there are a few things that bothers me.
1- Where is the graphical upgrade? At the very beginning of the trailer, where you see Kratos sitting, it looked awesome, but that's not gameplay. Actual gameplay looks like 25% better than the original, and that's simply not enough when they're almost half a decade apart. Say thanks to the ps4 for holding the shit outta this game back.
2- The environment seemed to be just as linear as in the first game, which is a real shame. I wanted open zones, not corridors. Again, thanks for the ps4 for holding the game back.
3- I don't like Atreus face. He looks like a rat that just stole my expensive burger.
Other than that, i saw too many recycled enemies and runic attacks. I want the new shit. They have the budget. Bring me the good stuff.
@ghosts4ever: Is that tiny brain of yours capable of typing out any other response? Lol what am I thinking of course it's not.
He sees best in the industry animations, which applies to a lot of Sony exclusives, and to him, its an automatic movie. He has never seen a single very well animated game on his pc, so he is just not getting it.
Is this a full game or a standalone expansion type deal? You can tell it started development on the ps4 or is using a lot of ps4 assets. I really hope they up the number of finishing animations. It got old seeing the same couple over and over again. Looking forward to continuing the story.
Man I love God of War and the refresh was definitely one of my favorite games last gen on the PS4. I’m sure Ragnarok will be amazing but visually it looks more or less the same. Goes to show how cross-platform games on last gen hardware holding this game back…
@boiled-hotdug: Could be a good thing. Visually the same at 60fps!
Instead of 'next gen' graphics at 30...
Isn't Horizon2 60fps? Not only full open world, but looks much better too.
Don't know why so much hate, it actually looks like a fun game.
People see high production value and think that it has no gameplay. Especially hilarious considering that God of War 2018 is one of the most challenging games last gen on God of War difficulty.
God of War with the new Ps5 patch (c4K/60) looks better than pretty much any game on the market today except perhaps a handful.
It doesn't even need to improve upon the originally and it'll be one of the best looking games and launch. But it will.
@hardwenzen: You mean Forza Horizon? Yeah that looks next gen and runs at 4K/60 on the series X.
If you mean Horizon: Forbidden West (Which I keep calling Horizon: Zero Dawn 2) that is only 60fps in its 'last gen graphics' mode, as the more demanding 'next gen' mode is 30fps only.

Blame all that on them still putting the game on PS4
