Geoff: Nintendo's Game At VGX Is 'World Premiere'

It's not Donkey Kong or any other game we know of. It's a 'world premiere.' Meaning it's a new game. One that hasn't been unveiled yet.

It's almost certainly a new Zelda. I imagine a new, realistic style, open world epic Zelda. So not Skyward Sword.

Yeah, I don't think you know much about how Nintendo works. Outside of Super Smash Bros., they rarely announce games too far in advance.

i dunno dude everything that was supposed to be released in 2012-early 2013 is now 2014 and some like the X game will be pushed to 2015. Please understand.

We know it exists. We know nothing else. What it looks like, what it is, what it plays like, anything. We know there will be a Zelda game on Wii U, and that's about it.

It's like knowing a Mass Effect 3 exists, but then it's actually revealed.

How i know? I don't. But didn't you hear Nintendo bitchin about how hard it is to develop in HD? That could be the reason. An open world title in HD is too hard for them

Didn't you hear how they specifically said their issues with HD development were now overcome, and applied only to first gen Wii U games? Didn't you know X is Monolith Soft?

What HD title did monolith developed before? Yeahhhh. I have a crystal ball and see X being released in early Spring 2015. It better come out in 2014 tho because Nintendo has absolutely nothing to compete against the dark souls 2, DA3, TW3 and the like.

No; a small team made Link Between Worlds (assisted by Monolith Soft), and another small team made Wind Waker HD. Over a hundred people in the Zelda team are unaccounted for.

Very excited I just recently bought a Wii U and I've been having a blast with it. My biggest problem with it has been that there are too many great games out.

They already announced an SSB game. Two and a half years ago.

sweet, at least its not going to be a garbage 'announcement' about already known games. Lets face it, we could all see nintendo annoucning Cranky Kong as the big reveal

anyway from mos tlikely to least likely

1. Zelda U (has been ready to show off, change up could also appeal to the shows 'bro' gamers ala skyrim.
2. Metroid, it has always done better in the west and would make sense to announce it at a western orianted event
3. F-Zero
4. Star Fox (these last two are pipe dreams)

Great to hear, wonder if its Zelda, something else, or the most biggest and mostly not choice but will be awesome if it happened: A new IP with high production like Zelda Mario and Pikmin. though i would like to see some more things as well like maybe a new smash trailer or better yet Confirmed Cranky Kong Gameplay in Tropical Freeze

Yeah, I mean for somebody just buying it. I can name 12 games that I either have picked up or plan to pick up, not to mention all the great Eshop games and older digital games they offer.
