There's some evidence for that though. There isn't any that Gears of War is going to PS3.

MGS 4 is possible because its 100% 3rd party. Gears is published by Microsoft. Which is why Gears is a Vista and 360 game. it wont be on mac or any other computer. MGS 4 on the other hand could end up being downsized and end up on mobile.

see theres a chance of it actually happening being that MGS4 isn't owned by sony, but your attempt to counter that failed being that Gears is owned by Microsoft.

I think you mean published, rather than owned, I believe Epic owns Gears of War.

Microsoft has all exclusive rights for GeOW 1 and 2, Sony does not have exclusive rights to MSG4
