Gears 4's graphics suck.......

Anyone else surprised gears 4 graphics just don't meet today's current gen standards? Especially considering running on unreal ENGINE 4. Either the budget was lower or dev's just didn't care. One only has to go back to gears 1-3...and how it always evolved, don't know if it due to cliffy leaving/different dev team, etc. Most high titles this gen have a almost photorealism look to it and i know the unreal engine 4 can do much better.

Also, its not to say the game looks terrible, just not that visually impressive compared to other games.

Gears of War 4 graphics only sucks if you didn't play it on PC :P

With HDR and Dynamic Shadows being exclusive to X1X, the best “graphics” are not on PC

The problem is the unreal engine and the game's artstyle. It just looks like a sharper Gears 3 with high res textures. To be fair though, there's not much they can do with it. they can't completely change the art direction bc it's a Gears game, but at the same time...it looks dated. I think it's best they stop making these games entirely.

Pff got a Samsung HDR monitor with all my consoles hooked up to it. I see the improvements but none of them look any better than what AC origins looks like on my monitor with HDR off.

I haven't played the game yet (still need to play 3) but from what I've seen the game looks good graphically. Art style seems to have suffered some, but that's a personal preference. Can't we just start banning people who constantly post this retarded troll bs?

A friend showed me some gameplay on his 120Hz monitor and the difference over 60fps. I much prefer the higher refresh rate, made a mistake going 4k.

The game’s artstyle is the problem. Technically it’s a good looking game but the artstyle is so dated it brings down the graphics.
