I have been playing Mario Kart Battle Mode for the past few hours. It is beyond amazing. (Shine Thief is my favorite mode followed by the coin rush). Battle mode in this game is unreal.
I blame Azi for this, which I will never be able to unsee.

Well anyways, I'm glad that MK8DX has made a ton of "core" gamers salty on the Switch. I understand that it's a port, but a port from Nintendo's worst selling mainline console in history that 3/4 of Wii U owners have. Good thing I never bought the DLC on the Wii U, I had a feeling that they would make a full package version. For those haterz
I think Switch's final sales figures will end up somewhere between the Wii U and the Xbone's. Not bad for a hybrid gimmick console for kids and metros.
ANYWAY... regardless whether it's consumers or scalpers (though I greatly doubt even a fourth of the Switch's total sales are tied up on eBay or Craigslist), this is all profit for Nintendo. Even the scalpers are contributing to Nintendo's bottom line with their own purchases.
So no matter how you spin it, at the end of the day, a Sale is a Sale.
MS is in trouble. With PS4 and Switch selling like crack I don't know how they expect Scorpio to make a big splash. Looks like Switch is stealing all the Scorpio thunder ?.
Mario Kart 8 is fantastic on all fronts. The best in the series, but there is still that ever present issue. If I had any say in the matter I'd fix the game by removing the coin item and, of course, the blue shell.
Seriously, how long will it take for Nintendo to realize the blue shell is a bad design choice from every single possible angle. If they removed it, everyone would rejoice. There has never been a good argument for keeping that thing around.

They just need to go out of the hardware business for the home consoles. Everything else is fine with me. The home console space is currently being polluted with Nintendo hardware.

When the gaming library is this limited, anything can, and will drive "insane" demand. I bet you a bunch of people bought Zelda even though they never cared about the series. Why? Because its that or nothing *cough* i mean, 1-2 Switch.
Why the hell will anyone buy something when the library is limited? You literally defeated your own argument within one sentence of the original, and what's more, Pedro, in all his eagerness to trip over himself to take a shit on Nintendo, ended up making a fool of himself as well.

The fact that the usual idiots are starting to bring back the "just a fad", "it won't last" bullshit is proof enough that Nintendo is killing it with the Switch. The amount of salt that will submerge this forum in the near future is going to be entertaining.

After the wii, then the wiiu, how can anyone think this is nothing more then a fad? Time will tell but I have no trust in nintendo, they release a handful of great games every gen, but thats not enough the console ends up being a dust magnet most of the time.
