Agreed. I loved playing Titanfall but if it can't win game of the month on gamespot, which is the most prestigious award in all of gaming, than it's not worth anyones time.

Well-deserved I'm sure, and at least this month it's not a DLC but an actual game. You're on the right track Gamespot. As a big DS1 fan, it pains me to miss out on this game. I just cannot bring myself to spend more than 50 hours in a previous gen game, please port this to new gen consoles.
I don't see why so many people here think Infamous deserves this title. It looks like a great game, but not spectacular, and its main strength is its graphics. In terms of story and gameplay, from what I have read, it's all stuff we have seen before, brings nothing new to the table. I'm sure it is a great game and I would have a great time with it, but it didn't turn out good enough to be a system seller(imo) and I don't see it as being GOTM worthy. Of course, it's always a matter of opinion, that's just my 2 cents from what I have seen and read about it.

Well having read @musicalmac's blog from time to time. I know he has a fairly respectable desktop Mac (from what I remember). If he's not gaming I have no Idea what he's doing with a PC of those specs. Also, said PC must have cost a **** load.

Titanfall deserved it more. Demons Souls and Titanfall are revolutionary while Dark Souls 2 is simply a quality rehash.
A solid mp shooter with the evacuate scenario alone should easily beat Dark Souls 2. But then you have the whole package with the great parkour, burn cards and possibly the most detailed mp maps in existence.

It's an Ivy Bridge i7 w/16Gb of RAM, a 1TB Fusion Drive (128GB SSD+1TB HDD), a 680MX, and a fused 27" 1440p IPS LED display. I partition ~300GB for Windows (currently 8.1). Thankfully, I can escape back to OSX when I don't want to suffer through the mess Microsoft imposed upon its end users.
You should see 27 inches of maxed out Metro or Far Cry 3 @1440p. It's pretty spectacular.
EDIT: With Mavericks and that much multitasking oomph under the hood, I can do a whole lot without any noticeable slowdowns. Believe it or not, there are other things to do with power than gaming.
Anyway, TF since it's a fresh new IP, scored AAA and gamers & pro's alike have raved about this new IP. Now that's a tall order for a new IP in the crowded genre of shooterzzzz.
@applefan1991: Agree. I beat it in a few days and sold it, though. Waiting for the PC version and the. I will buy it again. I did very much enjoy infamous as well, though
