doubt they can get it because of licensing issues, but Alien 3, I mean it's not a must and not somethign I expect the public at large to care about, but it's definitely something I'd love to see
anyhow:
that's all I got for now
@ProtossRushX:
Super Mario World
Legend of Zelda Link to the Past
Donkey Kong Country 1
Donkey Kong Country 2
Super Metroid
Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo
Mortal Kombat 2
Earthbound
Star Fox
Final Fight
Super Mario RPG
Final Fantasy VI
Yoshi's Island
Fzero
Mario Kart
The rest could be whatever they want but these are my SNES essentials.
These mini consoles are the most redundant thing ever....
Why's that?
There are awesome replicant controllers that can work on any device, with a far bigger library.
Hell a Rasberry PI can offer more.
The mario games.
Zelda stuff
Earthbound
Chrono Trigger
Final Fantasy stuff
Mega man X stuff
Metroid stuff.
Star fox
Theyre are plenty of essential SNES games. They should probably up the count to 40 or 50 if they make one.
Yoshi's Island is a must, but sadly it'll never appear as would Star Fox. The FX Chip is still being used and Nintendo doesn't want to pay the owners for the Code so We will never see the SNES FX games any time soon.
Turtles in Time is also a BIG Fat Chance, because it's in the same situation as Golden Eye.
ANYWAY Here's 30 games I think an SNES Mini would contain.
I'm shooting the dark and just naming stuff on the Wii shop and Eshop, but That's what is found on NES Mini so...
@MBirdy88:
It's NOT about quantity, it's about quality. Using the actual consoles dedicated to the certain gen. I know I can play all this for free on phone and pc but they just don't feel the same. It kinda kills the retro experience when you're not using the actual consoles.

You can't sell Raspberry Pi to casual families that want a plug&play experience

You may have a point.
NES Mini is a success? How so? Because Nintendo shorted the shipping numbers? Walmarts here in Atlanta only shipped 4-5 consoles. Local Target says they were shipped 6 of them. Have not spoken with Gamestop yet, but they were probably shorted too. The Wife bought one Friday morning. It has flaws.
A Super NES mini is a poor idea.
The obvious/mentioned:
Ones that rule but we won't see:
I have a SNES, so I wouldn't get it, but I guess I'd want these games:
Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy VI, Final Fantasy IV, Super Mario World, Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, Super Mario All-Stars, Donkey Kong Country, Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest, Super Metroid, Mega Man X, Mega Man X2, Super Mario Kart, Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars, Star Fox, F-Zero, Super Castlevania IV, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, Terranigma, Illusion of Gaia, TMNT IV: Turtles in Time, Super Star Wars, Pilotwings, Super Punch-Out, Earthbound, Contra III: The Alien Wars, Zombies Ate My Neighbors, Lufia II: Rise of the Sinistrals, Axelay, Super Street Fighter II, and Breath of Fire II would be awesome to have.
That's not even all of the games I'd want to include in it.
I already own most of the SNES games that I want so I wouldn't personally buy one, but if they do make one it should have a collection of games that captures the SNES in its essence. You could fill up the console with RPG's, but that wouldn't be too smart. At most it should have two or three RPG's.
