Games you think will FLOP

What games do you think will flop and recieve bad scores?

Mine: Mario Kart, Alan Wake, the next Sonic game (i hope i'm wrong :(), CoD 5

I agree with you about Mario Kart and the next CoD is a given but I think Gears 2 and Fable 2 will flop.

[EDIT 1] Ah, we are talking about BAD scores, not meeting the hype? Then ignore that I stated Fable 2 and Gears 2, but I still stand by Mario Kart and CoD5.

COD5 will flop. infinite undiscovery. gta4. mgs4.

Uhhh what games have been hyped lately anyway?

I guess Gears2 and Ninja Gaiden would flop if they don't reach AAA again. But it seems cows and hermits alike are already saying those games are flops so they are hyping them AA or lower. So maybe they aren't hyped AAA after all.

I worry more about games that I look forward to that might outright suck. Like I hope ALAN WAKE and SILENT HILL 5 do not suck but who knows it could happen.

Killzone 2 indefinitely.

Likely Fable 2.

Possibly Gears of War 2 although they really don't have to do too much to make it AAA.

Fair enough..Are you talking about back in the day of ps2/xbox. I wouldnt bring that up just incase ps3 wins this gen or next gen lol(never rule out a possibility)

The next Forza. Both Forza games got a 9.2(XBOX and the 360). some way that Forza 2 was perfect. Gran Turismo looks like it has or is looking that way, what is Forza going to do to improve?

Ninja Gaiden 2. Ninja Gaiden on the XBOX....Black too, got an 9.4. Sigma, on the PS3, got an 9.0. Now-a-days, hack and slashs doesnt get good scores. I think the 360 fan are askin too much out of this game.

Resistance 2 and Haze. 360 fans would like to see these 2 games flop, but i dont think that they will. Also, i dont play FPS's, so i could care less about them. The first Resistance got an 8.7. 360 fans laugh at it, but with an 8.7 on the first try, you have alot of room to improve. 360 fans would like to see this game flop because it looks like that it will play well and it will take away from the Halo talk.

Gran Turismo 5P: Its a demo.....a tester. Meaning, dont expect higher then a 8.6 out of these game.

Why do people think Fable 2 will flop? All of the features that Peter has been hyping have been shown in the game.

The DS mario kart which is the lastest one (not including the Wii one for us people not living in N and I think S America :)) got a 9.2.

I hope that mario kart does not flop, I got it yesterday and its great!

COD5 will flop, COD4 was too good to beat.

Haze as people are starting to doubt it already

GeOW2, as there will be so much hype for it they wont live up to expectations. unless they dont change anything.

Oh I agree with Spore, I actually read an early preview of the game and it sounds like it has a great sandbox editor, but they did mention the gameplay was repetitive.

But I would no way in hell bet against Blizzard and StarCraft 2. Even if they never sold the game in Europe or America, the Koreans alone would make this game a hit. Its like a religion over there. And btw has Blizzard ever put out a bad unsuccessful game?

COD5, NG2, Spore, Duke Nukem Forever, Too Human, Possibly Alan Wake, Fable2 (if hyped AAA), LBP...this one really depends on who rates it. Online luvers will rate it high, people who hate online will bash it to high heaven. Mario Kart Wii has flop written all over it and so does Halo Wars.

As for people that say that Resistance 2 will flop, I think it has a very great chance of getting AAA status same with Gears2. As for Haze...whats the hype? It fluctuates too much. It used to be 9.0 - WILL FLOP, then it went to 7.0 - WONT FLOP, now its around the AA(8.0) range and i think it has a good chance of meeting hype.
