Gamepass is getting good and not even God of War can stand up to it.

I never thought I'd ever say this, but after 5 years of struggling, Gamepass is finally becoming a real service worth owning. Death Stranding, Sable, Tunic, Ni No Kuni Remastered, Deathloop, and now Assassins Creed Odyssey and Origins. Now that the service is getting more than Halo, Gears, and a bunch of indie nonsense, it's shaping up to be a must-have service.

Sony doesn't have the exclusives to compete with gamepass, and Psplus will never be comparable. Wow. good job for once, Microsoft.

Sadly, that's going to work well for Sony. I expect the standard price for all new games to be 70 bucks very soon. I will personally never buy a game for that price, but luckily it takes weeks at most for games to drop in price.

Starting my replay of God of War 2018 soon, the sequel should already be 50-60 by the time that I finish it :)

If older games count for Gamepass, why are we just pretending PS Plus doesn't exist. If Gamepass has value, so does Plus and it's tiers. GP hasn't had a new AAA exclusive since Halo last year.

Psplus is a good service. We're not going to see day one releases there, so it will always be sub par, but it has value. Sony is killing Microsoft worth exclusives and had been for a while, but we're soon going to see things like fallout, systems, the elder scrolls, fable, etc on gamepass, day one.

I have high standards, which you already knew. I don't buy games just because they're exclusives, only casual scrubs do that. I will play Ragnarok on my 1440p nano ips monitor and there's nothing you can do about it.

I don't know enough about Gamepass and all the games it offers to be able to have an educated opinion on it, but I do own PS+ second tier, I forget what they call it. Anyway, I haven't been interested in any of the offerings that PS+ has given. Though that could be more me having a particular taste in games more than it is an issue with Sony's service.
