Forza Horizon 3 - Hype Thread

With Blueprint, you can take any of the hundreds of pre-created events in Forza Horizon 3 and customize them to your exact specifications. Players can use the Bucket List Blueprint to create brand new challenges, using the same tools that the game designers use. Choose a challenge type, the car you wish to use (including its livery and tuning setup), set the conditions, choose the music, give it a name, and set the difficulty by completing the event yourself. Then you can send that Bucket List Challenge to your friends as a direct challenge to see if they can top your score.

Forza games aren't my cup of tea but nevertheless, I'll give it a 8/10.

If the awesome demo and awesome previews are anything to go by, it's going to be one of the best games this gen. I see cows salt and DC stinking up this thread already. AAA from me. Dem graphics tho...

Even if he was, the laser scanning in the Motorsport series absolutely destroys Daytona USA.

Going AA the forza franchise is lookin mighty stiff next to GT Sport.

I think the forza franchise fatigue is strong in the gaming public they want to take a break from franchise, gamers want innovation, they want something fresh.

This series is just non stop every year a forza like. Enough is enough AA 8/10 thats what im giving it, its what the franchise is to me now.

@ProtossRushX: but the two forza series are separate games and I assume they have different teams working on them. Could be wrong. But the last horizon game was 2 years ago. 2 years is plenty of time for a racing sequel in my opinion.

it'll be awesome either way, however it'll get nothing higher on a 9 strictly because it's on Xbox One

maybe they need to put dead whales on the beach and cut out 90% of the gameplay and fill it with back to back cutscenes and put it on PS4 it'll get a 10/10

Played the demo. 8/10 game. Mario Kart 8 is a superior game and that got a 9. So by default FH3 8/10.

@ProtossRushX: I agree, the fatigue of Forza routinely thrashing Gran Turd is no and any Sony racer is setting on cows, the fact that Sony keeps failing at delivering a good racer is wearing PS fans down. The real question is that after the snooze fest Gran Turd Spud flops and Poly Phonies shuts down, is Yamauichi going to kill himself like Sean Murray did?

The game plays great and the world seems superb judging by the demo, yet its structure seems far from perfect. I'll say a solid 8.

got a couple friends playing it on Xbox so looking forward to partying up with them (I think this is possible now?)

I enjoy racing games but I can relate to this sentiment.

Personally I feel this could be AAA. But familiarity with previous games could bring the score down.

Anybody I know that knows and loves racing games tells me that Forza 6 dumps on 5 yet here 5 out scored it. At this point I don't believe a Forza game can be made bad, but I also don't believe GS reviewers will ever give it higher than AA.

Same. Since Forza Horizon just went BC and I never played it last gen, I have that and FH2 still in my library. I wont be buying this.

10, They pretty much crammed this game with content that the replay value will keep the game fresh for years to come. Also with Aussie backdrop, lots of different terrain types which is great as FH2 was disconnected a bit with separate DLC Storm Island which added more extreme races(FH3 brings it all in one package).

4 player cross-play co-op for the campaign is a huge upgrade over slogging away solo by yourself. Multiplayer, looking forward to seeing convoy mode and if there is any new modes like infected and king of the hill.

9.0 AAA, looks great.
