Forza, Gran Turismo or Mario Kart?

Two of them are boring as **** sims or pretending to be sims. One is Mario Kart.

I prefer Forza.

I also wouldn't put Mario Kart in the same list as Forza and Gran Turismo -- so completely different to the racing sims.

I vote for Mario.

3 reasons:

1)Forza DLC ripoff

2)Gran Turismo is outdated and cars get no damage at all(and it´s called SIMULATOR GAME LOL)

3)Mario Kart is funniest and great. It has amazing trucks, different weapons, fun, great visual and no DLC ripoff or selling old game like Gran Turismo

Two of them are "car porn" sims which I enjoy because I'm a car enthusiast and the other is a silly arcade racer which I enjoy because it's fun as hell.

Mario Kart, Forza and GT are just car porn.

I was going to vote mario kart ofc, but then i thought, which answer would make TC most butthurt, and so, GT series gets my vote.

It's a more nuanced racer than Mario Kart 8 is ever going to be -insert apology of you're comparing apples to oranges-. Like apples to oranges, I like picking oranges, in this case it's two racing games, except one is going to have more depth for its driving engine. Kart racer excuse doesn't really fly, if you just want to talk depth. It's not my fault you don't have a counter argument better than "yeah, but Mario Kart is more fun". Yours is subjective, mine is out right fact.

As for GT? no beef, I actually really liked GT3, and 4. But 5 and 6 were whatever to me. Forza Motorsport proper strikes a good balance of arcade friendly options, and sim depth if I feel like seeking it out. Forza 5 was a misstep, but after 4 excellent racers I'm willing to give someone a benefit of the doubt on one game. Now if Forza 6 sucks, well then they are in GT territory again of everything was great for 4 games, and then "x happened". Plus I dig Horizon. I like the vibe of that game.

I generally enjoy the "cartoony" versions of games. I like Mario Kart. I'm not big into sim racers.

I voted for Mario Kart. I like the depth of Gran Turismo and Forza, but I find the actual gameplay incredibly boring. I've always been a way bigger fan of arcade racers tho. I like games like Midnight Club and Blur.

I've seen so many of you (who have commented in this thread) rag on PS4 or X1 games for not being 1080p or 60fps, especially the racing titles.. So many of you are saying mario kart is your favourite racing franchise and yet clearly nintendo makes graphics on their consoles a lower priority and focus more so on gameplay.

Yes mario kart 8 is a good looking game, clearly doesn't have the bells and whistles forza, drive club or GT have and yet its the leading title in this poll.

It's funny that standard cars (and tracks) lifted from PS2 is complete fail.

What in the world does it feel like then? A platformer? How does a game in which you race in karts around a track not feel like a racing game? [insert eye rolling smiley]
