Fortnite Beta Coming This Fall, PC Exclusive

For some odd reason, Epic Games announced at Apple's WWDC that Fortnite will be coming to OSX and that there will be a public beta this fall.

They also released a new Gameplay trailer

Fortnite is a PC exclusive, co-op sandbox survival game. And it is Epic's first game utilizing Unreal Engine 4

coop could be cool if played with friends. If it has no SP like Evolve and is MP only, that may deter me from it.

That actually looks pretty cool, although the amount of time spent making that game is probably gonna be a let down.

Interested I guess. Killing Floor 2 and this should cover my horde mode needs, plus if Rainbow Six Siege doesn't suck, there is glorious ass terrorist hunt.

@Nengo_Flow: Nope it was announced as a PC exclusive but they never revealed the platform in the first trailer so people just assumed it was a 360 exclusive since that was all Epic Games had been working those days.

So are we supposed to ignore the ps3 level graphics here? I thought pc is a "beast". Where are all the pc games that take advantage of the "beast" hardware?

Finally, been waiting for this game for a while. I wanted to be a part of the alpha test. But I didn't get chosen. :\

The gameplay trailer looks good, it reminds me a lot of Orcs Must Die!

It's basically OMD but with 4 players and more guns/weapons. Let's see how cool the traps are :p

I think the game is co-op only, in that you play it with 1 to 3 other players.

Maybe you can play it on your own, not sure.

Really I was following the game a lot and not once did I hear of it at Microsoft E3

It wasn't showcased at M$' conference. They just revealed it by releasing the trailer on youtube, close to some show like Gamescom etc.

I was hyped when it was announced because it was like the first Unreal Engine 4 title that we have seen.
Not so sure now.

1. Console GFX Whore. A living breathing Oxymoron. Like a "Burger Expert" who only likes McDonalds.

2. It'll score higher than almost all PS4/XBO shit. Like Heroes of the Storm just did. An exponential AAA/AA library lead.

3. You're confusing art-style for gfx again. It looks FAR better than PS4's sole "good" exclusive (BB), as well as others shitty games :

Game looks pretty good. I'll take a closer look at it when it releases. PC has too many games.

Why are you so predictable? You're quite literally a talking cliché of a stereotypical PlayStation fan and it's really rather sad.

Game looks like a ton of fun, but it's been in development for ages. So I'm really not sure what to expect.

Face simulators that look last gen when not zoomed into peoples heads.
