Here comes the brigade of people who complained about how linear and "cinematic" God of War 4 is to tell us everything they know about this game, too.

I was interested right away from the first e3 showing... idk why the game garnered so much hate.

Incoming butthurt lems and fanboys in 3....2.....1.....

Honestly, after Horizon and GOW. Sony knows what they're doing. They delayed the game, but i'm sure because they want to just make the quality assurance to the level of their other productions. This game is probably going to end up being greater than we think.

Wow, i like the zombie roof thing. And the concept of building the bike while playing.

But that looked rough. jitters everytime they went into cutscene on the bikes, shotgun cliping, 2 shotguns in cutscene.

I get why it took so long.

Looks good, I can't wait to get my hands on it.

Yeah that looked a bit lacking for me. The game sounds better then what was shown so maybe perhaps that will come true later. I thought the best chance they have is to show the more dynamic gameplay then the tutorial introduction story set up part of the game. The fade to black cuts are worrisome looks very B tier movie(Pun Intended). Were those cuts from the game or just the video edits. It just seemed like things got moved forward. Encounters do not appear as good as its more linear last gen brother TLOU which this showing invites comparisons that they don't want.

I don't know about awesome i thought the vibe of this game was going to be how dynamic it is and such. They should lead with that. Show and talk about what the weather changing does in terms of gameplay.

Looks awesome, digging the dynamic weather and environment. Bummed for no co-op but def. Picking this up on release day.

You can hate. It's just kind of hard to take gaming opinions seriously from people that bought Sea of Thieves on purpose.

So to counter that, you respond with anti-Sony antagonism? And bring up the "Sony template" which is a common Xbox troll? C'mon, it was pretty transparent where your opinion of this game's "mediocrity" came from.

No "trolling" here champ... I'm just pointing out the fact that Days Gone seems to stick pretty closely to the usual cinematic-style of Sony 1st party games we've seen before. It's not really a criticism if you enjoy those types of games. Relax.

Another Movie game that I'm excited for. Sony just keeps on winning while Lemmings keep on bending over for MS and their xbox 360 games.

I like what they're doing with the game. You won't be able to change the difficulty of the game.

I just watched from 15:00-30:00. The impression I got from the commentary and what I saw was: open world, lots of options, gloomy atmosphere, interesting story, looks great. Looking forward to it.

Looks like a cross between The Last of Us and Far Cry, which is pretty cool and interesting.

Hopefully the game opens up more and becomes more dynamic.

Linearity is good but not for every game.

Definitely keeping my eye on it, looks cool.

The choppy framerate while riding was painful to watch: I guess it really is cinematic: sub 30 fps FTW! Also, are they vampires or something?, reflections are nowhere to be found.

I think this game can go both ways. But I'm definitely interested.

Alpha gameplay. I'm willing to cut this game some slack, have you seen the enemy hordes this game supposedly has. Don't know if they showed them in that video, but...

I dunno why people hated this game in the first place, it looks like a non-shit version of dead rising. The AI and path finding looked impressive at least assuming it wasn't scripted for the first demos we saw.

Just hope it isn't a 100% story drive game and has some advancements in the form of gear and weapons and not just upgrading a bike, and not just guns.

Looks tight

The action looks fun but I really don't like the Batman/Witcher tracking stuff. You're not doing any actual observation and investigation; the game just gives you the answer and you follow the trail.

Im huge fan of serious post apocalyptic zombination lore and this looks awesome to me.

Looks good, but i hate detective visions (unless it's explained by technology or magic), highlighted items once you are close, minimap showing everything, etc. I prefer blind exploration in open world games.

May pass this one for the same reasons i pass Ubisoft games.

I hope they saddle me with a kid at some point. It's not Sony if some kid isn't bugging you the whole time.

@recloud: Delays Gone has always looked generic in my opinion. Nothing about it gets me excited.

There are game with zombies that are moronic and pure trash. One of them is Dead Rising games. And this is coming from a guy that is huge fan of zombie games.

Detective vision should always have some in-game explanation. I hate how in TLOU he had this power to see what he heard, with zero in-game explanation for this power. At least MGSV gave him a visor that tracks enemies once spotted.

@recloud: going to be a long wait since it’s been delayed so many times. Probably to try and find away to make it interesting.

Exactly. I understand those 'magical visions' in games like The Witcher 3, Batman AK or Detroit Become Human. Not in games like Far Cry or Assassin's Creed. It just kills the fun of exploration for me.

I'm not sure why you think a delay is bad.

SOT could have used a delay and not be compared to NMS and already forgotten.

Had some more time to watch the video again and i think the best way to compare it with is the Mad Max game.

Focus on a machine, limited resources, scavanging but less burnout and with zombies.
