Apparently these days, 5 year olds play Gears of War, which I think is wrong in so many ways, but I thought back to the first experience I had with a very violent game (Mortal Kombat) and maybe it depends on the kid but I didn't really think it was that big a deal.Wolfenstein 3D ! RAWR
What were some of you guys' first experiences with violent videogames, and would you ever let your kids play them underaged?

Manhunt.
I don't consider any of the games you listed exceedingly violent.
Manhunt was just disguisting and vulgar.

I cant remember the name but you were like a wizard dude. You walked around in third person and very violently and graphically killed imps and trolls and the like. You could literally see the intestines and internal organs when you disemboweled your foes. Was extremely graphic. Oh yea, and doom.

Uhh.....ppl go to theaters to watch movies like SAW and buy them for home, and that movie and manhunt even have a similar plot line so.....Carmageddon 2!
This is the only game I felt guilty and physically sick after playing. MK, Doom, Postal...etc. were candyland.
