Famitsu review scores: surprise game received 39/40 score; Move scores

Here are the reviews from the recent issue of Famitsu:

Strike Witches 2 (DS): – 7/6/8/6 (27/40)

These are the first games that Famitsu reviewed that uses the PlayStation Move motion controller:

Me & My Pet (PS3): – 8, 8, 7, 9 (32/40)

Sports Champion (PS3): – 8, 8, 7, 8 (31/40)

BeatSketch! (PS3): – 9, 7, 7, 8 (31/40)

I thought NMH2 was released in japan around the same time as it was in the West.

Meh its Famitsu their scores are only worth checking if the game is a JRPG that is not from SE.

Can't wait to pick up Vanquish next week! Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 will have to wait though. I don't want to spoil any of Shippuuden for myself.

Demo was meh, graphics are awesome tho. The graphics are pretty much exactly from the anime just a little cell-shaded sprinkled on it.paradigm68

I have to say, the game loos pretty solid, the gameplay looks fun, it has online, tons of characters, nice adventure mode, terrific graphics, sure, it may be a fan service button mashing game, but you have to admit, devs did a nice job with this game, have to say, i was about to get a multiplayer game for this winter, it was among Raw vs Smackdown 2011 or NBA2k11 but Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 took easily the crown, gonna get this on December, gather the cousins and have a hell of a time.

Oh Japan...

Anyway, Vanquish WILL be AAA material :)

:cry: I wasn't talking about famitsu I was talking about U.S. sites like GAMESPOT, gametrailers, ign, gameinformer and so fort. Couldn't care less about famitsu's scores. xD yes I took fourth grade math but I am currently struggling with Algebra 2 :P

The double standards on this thread amazed me.

Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 39/49, yeah Famitsu scores are worthless, it's an anime game of course it score so well, Famitsu lost credibility long time ago.

Vanquish 37/40, nice score, way to go, awesome score.

Oh yeah, I'm real surprised when games like Blue Dragon and Infinite Undiscovery get good scores.

I'm not sure why people even care what score famitsu gives games when they can't actually read the reviews for themselves. Just weeboos.
