Cut downplaydemon some slack folks, simple mistake... Hell, I half-assed read the topic and thought the TC was hyping FLATOUT 3. Then it hit me as to why would anyone be so excited about crashing a car and sending the driver through the window?

I've heard really good things about Fallout but never played much of the series, only a little.

I'm definitely interested in this, for PS3.

im ashamed to say, that, ive never played Fallout or any Fallout game

i was probably too young when they came out to know about them, so yes, hate me now

well ill pick this one up, thats for sure, just please tell me its not like oblivion

Its not an educated guess, because its an opinion. A "flop" is a game that is supposed to sell really well regardless of score but does not or a game that is hyped to a high status and fails to achieve it.

In other words, the guy who posted "flop" is being moronic by making a claim on the status of a game without any proof before the game has been finished, and you make the mistake of thinking your opinion constitutes as fact due to your misunderstanding of the word "flop".

Ive never heard of fall out either, in  the 6 years ive owned consoles ( PS2 and PS3) i hav only played like ,25  games.

I tend to have a hard time playing games that i havent already if they age past 1998, i mean im 18 and 32 bit games that arent already in my "have played" collection just dont get me going, im shallow in that sense i guess that i wont go play those games, i just dont have the drive to devote the time and energy to it

Just so you know, all PC games are still in 32 bit.

Also, tons of people have nothing wrong with playing games like Starcraft, which is the same age.

Fallout is still the best RPG ever, even by today's standards._Memento_

This is pretty much the only official definition, if you have not noticed.

As for mediocracy, I actually enjoyed Oblivion, alot. I thought it was better than Morrowind. Blasphemy, I know, but its an opinion, one that is in opposition to yours. That is why we don't attach our opinions to the status of a game, or a definition. Also, you never gave any evidence as to why it might be a flop, making your opinion not just an opinion, but one with little credibility.
