Explain this to me, PS4 Pro - $399, Scorpio - $500 BUT..

BUT, the only thing running at 4K on Scorpio is Forza 7 and SoW. What happened to no compromises? 4K, 60FPS ?

So why the HELL would anybody buy an Xbox scorpio when it runs games just like the Pro, but costs $100 more ?

Microsoft learned nothing. PS4 sells itself, XboxX or whatever sells the PS4.

Yeah expect the PlayStation 3 was using some crazy ass architecture with untested hardware that no one had ever worked with before, these modern console are all running x86 PC hardware that has been developed on for decades, developers know exactly what is and is not within reach.

My screen is 3440x1440, but I run 60+ a lot. There are definitely 4k gamers going north of 60 in games that support xfire or sli.

Isnt the Ps4Pro's 4k actually just "4k" and not actual 4k.

Because i feel like that would be the actual difference. And the Ultra HD player. And BC. And i believe Microsoft mentioned something about 35 games will be at the 4k level by the time it comes out. Cant confirm that bit though.

Microsoft has 6 past games in the pipeline plus their new ones, 343i is tinkering with the dev kit and Phil said they were doing neat things, and 30 other announced previous releases are getting upgraded, Phil also stated there were even more but they haven't been listed as of yet.

MS creates a XB1 damage-control "true 4k" console, the X1X, which it markets entirely on power, forgetting that consoles need exclusives to stand out. Shows up at E3 and proceeds to show demonstrations of games all running on PC, says the specs are "similar" to the X1X. Meanwhile, hardly any games, both before and after E3, are reportedly going to run at native 4k on this "true 4k" console; and of those that do, almost all of them, which is very few indeed, cannot be run 4k@60fps.

And lems wonder why Sony dominates MS gen after gen.
