Evil Within 2 vs AC origins vs Wolfenstein 2 new colossus. which October big hit you are looking forward to most?

I think GGGManlives explains it really well: you were turned off by the cinematicness of TNO or TOB or by what they tried to do with the story.

But once you are dropped in a level there is really nothing stopping you from all out carnage.

The shooting is really fun and feels really good in Wolfenstein, I'm sorry but COD can't compare, those weapons are pea shooters.

In wolfenstein the weapons feel loud and dangerous, you don't want to be on the receiving end of BJ Blazcowics gun.

I tried to like new order i cant. yes i turn off by too much cinematics but i dont mind it in metro because metro tell excellent story where i was immersed in. in new order the story is so terrible but they act like its a great story. i dont care about any character or BJ. even Doom 2016 has better story which doesnot even have story at all the and the it ended i want to see how sequel will begin.

the shooting parts? well the AI is terrible first and foremost, then i was not impressed by gunplay. then i forced myself to follow a linear path for example when i was going to exit outside via window. why cant i jump? why i have to follow linear cutscene and path? game dictate me what i do instead of freedom to do what i want to do.

new order was not even a shadow of RTCW. and i was huge wolfenstein fan. now i dont care about this series anymore.

I never care much for story in a game, the old blood's story was good I feel.

Same with Metro, it's the setting that draws me in more than the story. The New Collosus United States setting has me very interested.

I finished The New Order and The Old Blood two times and I very much enjoyed the gunplay.

Just wait until the new collosus is on sale and give it another try ;)

For me it's somewhere between The Evil Within 2 and Wolfenstein 2. Both of those games seem more up my street than Assassin's Creed Origins but I'd like to try all three.

All 3 look great in my opinion.

But Mario Odyssey will get my money this month!

Not buying it right now but The Evil Within 2 is the most interesting game out of those. I'm done with AC and I always found Wolfenstein theme (Anti-nazi american power fantasy) to be cringy asf

The 1st The Evil Within had its flaws but its first two thirds were great. It just ended up commiting the same mistake RE4 did by giving weapons to the enemies on the last third of the game making the game more action and less horror oriented. TEW2 looks to have fixed that shit... at least I hope

I'm not pressed on any of those 3 and won't buy them until they are bargain bin priced. This month Mario Odyssey is the "big hit" game that gets my money.

From that list Assassin's Creed will be first but not for a while yet. I've got Divinity Original Sin 2 and Total War Warhammer 2 to keep me busy for the moment and of course the Mortal Empires update coming soon.

3d sonic games did suck but when mario bros on SNES was a thing. Sonic games on genesis beat them by very large margine. when I was kid, i was huge fan of sonic and i didnot liked mario even as kid i found it not very interesting.

now sonic forces could be best 3d sonic game so it will be better game too.

TEW2 all the way. The first one is one of my favorite games this gen, flaws and all. TEW is a great IP and I hope they keep the series going. That being said, one of my other favs this gen is Wolfenstein, so I'm looking forward to that, too.

And AC sucks. Get that crap away from me.

I'm not buying a single one of those at launch. The "big October game" would be Shadow of War for me. Wolfenstein and The Evil Within would both be rentals or bargain bin games for me. I know they will be enjoyable, but $79.99 CDN is just too much for those games. Assassins Creed has my attention this time around, but I have already purchased Shadow of War. I like that Assassins is taking more of an RPG approach this time around. Hopefully it works out well and makes the franchise relevant again.

Evil Within is RE 4 Successor so you can expect some action chapter or fight enemy that have range weapons.

I've never played an assassins creed game before - and from what I've heard they're generally not that amazing anyway. So I couldn't really vote for that.

As for wolf2, the last installment was a 6/10 game imo. The difficulty was uneven, the weapons terribly unbalanced, the characters were annoying and even the graphics looked slightly cartoonish.

But the evil within was a solid 9/10 game. Great gameplay... Far from just a brainless gallery shooter - I found it rather mentally engaging.
