Reviewer sounds butthurt that hes not one of the reviewers that got paid off by Sony.

well they're two different things. One is using VGChartz as a reference for sales numbers, the other is a review (which people always say is just someone's opinion).

too much hate for the game. millions of people had a chance to play the beta/demo and decide if they were interested. i knew it wasn't for me.

Meh the reviewer thinks P4 was rubbish so his opinion is invalid.

Lots of people tried the beta, yes, but not everyone did, and I bet a lot of people were expecting some more variety of content after the beta. I knew if I were interested in the game, I would have expected the beta to offer a mere tiny slice of the total content of the game. But it wasn't like that. What was in the beta, was essentially the game but stretched out over 20+ hours.

I object to the notion that "something can't be called objectively rubbish because it's objectively not rubbish'...like bitch please, the quality of a game is totally subjective, and if someone did have valid reasons for why they thought the game was rubbish: the piss poor dungeon designs+having standards above video game stories, then yeah, I would say one is totally justified to call it rubbish. It's a matter of justification, not defending Maroxed's opinion, those are usually laughable to me, but more so the notion that he doesn't have a right to his opinion because of some grand misunderstanding of what the word objective means.

anyways, the game raised at 77 on metacritic. Its a decent enough score

a lot of that stuff you mention about the game not having enough content was reported on in a lot of articles actually. that's why I didn't buy it at launch

You may be the one that is confused, saying that something that didn't work in one game and yet was implemented in another doesn't mean that both games are from the same people.

February would be my guess as that was the time slot last year.

But it should be sometime through January-march, the original seasons April release was to launch the show because NBC logic.

I should really get into Boardwalk Empire. I also wanna watch The Sopranos. My brother had nothing but praise for it.

Boardwalk is honestly a little unimpressive given the people working on it. 1 and 2 are great seasons though, that pilot is top notch as ****.

Who's working on it? I know Steve Buscemi and Michael Shannon are in it. They're cool dudes.

Hell, I'll just check it for the pilot then.

I started The Wire, but had to stop due to some personal shit at the time, and never got back into it. I like Idris Elba, so I should just start over. Was half way through the first season anyway.
