Empire of Sin - a strategy game by John Romero

A while back, I posted a thread about John Romero making a strategy game. Yes, THAT John Romero. The man who was going to make everyone his b****.

Turns out, I didn't realise it at the time, but the game actually just got an E3 debut in the Nintendo Direct:

Holy crap, it's actually real. Yeah, I'll keep an eye on this. Also, "Empire of Sin," made by the "Icon of Sin." Nice.

Yeah, looks pretty cool. Nothing amazing but a solid looking game all the same.

If it's tactical strategy + Mafia, it can't be all bad. Wonder if it's going to have turn-based strategy and real-time tactics.

Been a few Mafia strategy games, but most have fallen flat. Hopefully this one fairs better.

Paradox interactive makes really solid strategy games. Their Europa Universalis series is one of my fav actually, Heart of Iron is decent too. I hope this game can deliver cause I am gonna play this game so damn much if it does.

This wasn’t something that really sparked my interest when I saw it. That could change when I see more later on but I kind of doubt it.

You...didn't realise this was a John Romero game, when the trailer began with the logo of his company, followed by a close-up shot of Romero Rum? :p

Hmmm I remember similar game like that published by Eidos back in the day. I think it was called Gangsters.
