This topic is locked from further discussion.
Surprised he wasn't banned long ago tbh imho brb lol. :P :P :P
Anyways, we should all friend him on Steam now.

How did you find him? :D
That comment " I feel sorry for your walet" lol
Btw, Conan lemme know when you're free so we can play Reflex
@mjorh: You should try Toxikk. Basically free and also you can buy the game.
I'll give it shot once I'm done with Reflex, thx.
For all intensive purposes
I want to call this out so badly, but I'm cool with the person who said it. :/
Still.

He posted it a long time ago and I sent it to Cainetao in a PM (for teh lulz), so I just dug it up from there.
And sure man, I should be able to get on there either tomorrow or Monday.
Toxikk is also good too, I haven't played it since launch, but it was fun. Blab was actually messaging me about it earlier.
@ConanTheStoner: Alright, just lemme know a few hours beforehand
I just googled "intensive purposes" and damn it's a common mistake, interesting :D
Toxikk seems promising but what's good about Reflex is its servers, played it for an hour and didn't experience lag, I think we can play on European servers and have a close ping
So what actually sent Sponge flying?
I quite liked him, he was a character. Alot of users are interchangeable now, might as well be red shirts. But Sponge, Sponge was special, even his hair was annoying.
went by EB Games and the place is slowly becoming more about selling videogame merchandise.
Worst thing I saw that was being sold were MASS EFFECT SOCKS WITH N7 PATTERNED ALL OVER IT.
why would anyone even.
I might end up buying more of those shmups/bullet hell ship action/spectacle flighters on Steam.
Edit: stupified the genre definitions for Bronan.
I enjoy my fair share of PvP death match side scrollers. More commonly known as 2d space control sims. I think I've found the deepest one yet, and its name is Dive Kick.
Honestly though that game has no business being as funny as it is. Basically shits on the entire fighting game community, it's great.
@mjorh: God no. I never even started. Thanks for reminding me how lazy I am. ;)
You know what? Maybe I'll do that today once my brother and his family leave. I don't know what to make though...

*chuckles* I can relate
I'm sure you can pull it off, you had some ideas as far as I can remember
@mjorh: Yes and I still remember those ideas but I just haven't the inspiration to work on them. :/
Maybe I'll just build mechanics. Just to have them when I actually think of a game.
Told you to just make an open world survival battle royale rogue-like game with RPG elements, crafting and loot box cosmetic rewards. Put in leagues and seasons for esports.
@illmatic87: Mmmm should I do early access or full game with paid DLC that should have been in the game?
@illmatic87: Mmmm should I do early access or full game with paid DLC that should have been in the game?
That's so 2 years ago. Of course. But make sure you open up a twitter account and subreddit for your game. Then refer to metrics, player data and focus group testing when responding to legitimate criticisms about the game. Also, Sugar coat your dev responses with happy exclamation marks to build that good will and create a cult defense force that will defend your game no matter how bad it may be. Ensure you hype up your 1.2 game update by throwing around the terms free content and listened to the community.
Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara was pretty good. It's no Revenge Of Death Adder but for £3 it's difficult to complain.
I hate when someone thinks he is so smart when he says something is overrated while not giving any reasons to why he thinks so
@nathanbats: I wouldn't think too much on it. If there is critique that you feel isn't engaging you meaningfully, you're better off ignoring it.
Its so hard to find new and interesting games on steam now. That store is just a mess, its 99% bullshit
I wouldn't say it's all BS, it depends on what games you're looking for. Me I bought few games from the sales but I didn't notice Turok was only $5 and I almost forgot it's on Steam. I started with playing Turok last night. I had the N64 cartridge when I was 12, but I only really ever played around with cheats, and the level selector, I don't think I ever played the game straight through without cheats, and I would much rather play with a KB/M in this day and age. Developers did a great job bringing it to PC. Turok is so much fun, glad I bought, very reminiscent of Doom in a way, but with dinosaurs and poachers, instead of aliens. If you enjoyed the classic Dooms consider picking it up.
I find following some curators works well. Just go to a game you discovered, then see what curators recommended it and follow them. Favourites are Indie Megabooth and Early Access Watch, because they highlight things of interest that I dont usually find elsewhere. But in general, having plenty of friends with varied taste seems to get the job done, because Steam does a good job of facilitating what your friends are playing. I mean, if you're friends on steam it's likely you played the same game or met in some community of similar gaming interests.
The Steam Discovery queue is still quite awful. Just because I booted up Cities Skylines this week doesnt mean I want to buy all these other city builders and management games. I assume it's working off the equally messy steam tags. I'd personally clean up the front page to be less daunting of a product spam because people shouldnt have to use Steamspy or browse off the client for steam chrome plugins just to make the storefront better.
Played Oxenfree.
Interesting setting, felt like an episode of The X-Files starring the cast of Dawson's Creek. I can understand where the comparisons to Life is Strange were coming from, but Oxenfree is more like an abridged, hurried version of Life is Strange.
It's basically a "one-and-done" type of game. Even if I ever play it again, I get the feeling I'd make the same choices again, ha ha.
I'm all for games that are about the characters and decision-making being the primary game mechanic. But at least make the game longer than a few hours for crying out loud. Though since it was an indie game, I guess there was only so much the developers could work with given their budget.
I was considering getting Night in the Woods next, but I don't know. Has anyone here played it? If you have, please tell me it's a game that takes longer than one day to beat.
so @putaspongeon got banned? How bad was it lol
Along the same subject, but did Nyadc get banned again? Haven't seen dude on.
he was banned a while ago. I think he had some alts come on after, but those were banned too
Ya, he was here during e3 but haven't seen him since.

lmao
lol agreed
Hollow Knight is good stuff.
Been trying to play Hollow Knight and Axiom Verge simultaneously. Hollow Knight has taken over completely. It is quite a bit more addictive and honestly I think its better too so far.
I just beat Hornet the second time. Pretty much at the end game now.
Was beating an Alfheim challenge in Bayonetta on Hard, I had like 5 seconds left and he had so little health left, went for a wicked attack to finish him off but I fvcking messed up the button combination and couldn't pull it off, shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit!
Now, that's a good videogame story lol
