I think they'd have amazing chemistry. Now whether this actually happens...
That's up to Joss Whedon. :(

@Maroxad: Youtube can be a heaven for learning new stuff, there are tons of informative channels, be it for gaming, cinema, education, etc. I love it.
Yup, I used youtube especially early on as a supplement for teaching me college level mathematics. Before I really got into the mathematician's mindset. PatrickJMT and Khan Academy were great sources when I was stuck on my maths.
Love those channels :)
Some of my favorite channels are Kurzgesagt - In a Nutshell, potholer54, MinuteEarth and It's Ok To Be Smart. Sometimes, I even just look at Harvard and MIT lectures too, especially for subjects that aren't in the engineering curriculum.
What are your favorite channels?
@Maroxad: Khan Academy helped me so much with my Game Engines class which had lots of physics and maths involved. :)

You have no idea how much PatrickJMT helped me out, he's simply brilliant.
I'll check them out, here are some of my favs:
CrashCourse (This one is the most informative)
Nerdwirter
Cinefix
Charisma On Command
Lessons from Screenplay
The School of Life
ScreenPrism
SciShow
And of course the gaming ones like Mark Brown, Super Bunnyhop, Turbo Button, Raycevick, etc
I've never watched Total Biscuit. The only video I saw from him was in regards to the term 'cinematic' as a descriptor for video games - which he didn't like. I haven't really checked out any of his other videos.
With the Steam Summer Sale up and running, any of you guys/gals have a wishlist for certain games? I might be able to gift something.
I've also been binge-watching Breaking Bad. Not bad at all, but the pace is super slow at times. Acting is superb, but the writing sacrifices some character for comedy which bugs me at times.
@PikminWorld: I'm pretty set to be honest. I have all that I need right now - actually I have what I want in abundance! Thank you for offering all the same. That's very generous. :)
Totalbiscuit is skip territory for me.
I respect him, he takes what he does seriously, but his voice gets on my tits now.

Man, I just realized I havent subscribed to CrashCourse. I have seen a few of their videos in the past. Loved them.
And yeah, PatrickJMT is brilliant.

Game Engine Class? Was that a 3D or 2D or both? But yeah, I can definately see a lot of physics and maths invovled, in 3D, I in particular it would practically be a lot of applied linear algebra and trignometry.
Have you visited their website as well? They got a lot of tools for also practicing there. Wolfram Alpha offers unlimited practice as well... for subscribers. But still, I find the small fee to be worth passing an exam and getting good marks to be worth the cost of unlimited practice :)
@Maroxad: YOur post made me look back at what I watch in Youtube and....
That seems very much like you. The GWENT bit especially. :P
Youtube is pretty much my daily unwind session. I have decent line-up for near-daily viewing goodness.
@Maroxad: It was both. Basically trying to create our own game engines and replicate basic physics like bouncing, projectile motion, 'gravity' and that sort of thing. Projects had us doing this in both a 3D and 2D space. The exam itself was a written exam and primarily consisted of physics. It was fairly light-weight, really. I am awful at maths so I had to use Khan's videos to help me. I don't believe I looked into their website, or researched in any detailed environment - just what I needed to get by. A fun class all the same.

I'm building my Steam library, so yeah I'd accept it ?
We already stumble across enough r4gn4rok posts to not have to watch a totalbiscuit video.
lol why would you say that? :D
I mean, he's good, I like him.

Breaking Bad's superb, as the seasons go on it gets better and better. Only issue seems to be every female character solely exists to whine. Seem to have fixed that with Better Call Saul.
@mmmwksil and just so we can disagree about something :P
Matthew Patrick is the Alex Jones of video game fan theories.
Edit: Checks an alex jones compliation video... umm... I take that back.

If you got enough mathematical skills to model a 3d world in a computer. You do have talent in maths. Don't sell yourself short :) But yeah that sounds fun.
@Maroxad: I didn't develop the actual rendering or anything. That was already handled. All I did was assign the properties of a ball to a ball and made the physics work. :P
The projectile motion stuff was fun!

Breaking Bad might just be the best TV series ever! (alongside The Wire, so Champ won't kill me :P)
And I just finished watching Better Call Saul Season 3, and it was simply amazing! on par with Breaking Bad.

Kinda wished Breaking Bad ended with that final Granite State scene, but people would have raged if it wasn't 100% wrapped up.
@jumpaction:If ya change your mind, don't feel afraid to ask. :P
@hallenbeck77: S3 E4. A lot has happened at this point, starting to get down to the "darker" part I believe. I think it just goes downhill for the characters I like from here on out lol.
@mjorh: Sounds good! I guess I can just look at your wishlist?
@uninspiredcup: I don't dislike the women in the show as other fans seem to. I feel like Skyler is kind of fair in how she reacts to situations. I mean her spouse is obviously hiding things from her and has done a lot of emotional damage to her. Not condoning her adultery or anything, but I can understand why she was always very demanding of him, she just wanted him to be safe. Now she's starting to go down her annoying route where she won't even talk to him, does things to get under his skin (the cheating), etc. I don't support what she's doing, but I mean, Walt has done a lot to break their relationship, even if he was trying to help it. Marie is hated too, but I think the show is unfair to her, they sacrifice any meaningful development from her to make her that person who says the wrong thing at the wrong time (trying to help, but ends up making things worse).
I noticed that the videos @jg4xchamp does link to us... are at least quality videos worth watching. I can't say the same for the garbage @FireEmblem_Man tried to link me in the past.
Pretty good taste in youtube videos if I may say so myself, at least the gaming section. As for myself, I mostly only use youtube for videos concerning science and literature.
What's with the cheap shot at me? What other youtube videos have I posted here other than one conservative youtuber?
@PikminWorld: I completely agree with you. While she wasn't perfect, I generally sided with her over Walt.
@PikminWorld: I completely agree with you. While she wasn't perfect, I generally sided with her over Walt.
Yeah, she did things out of good intentions: constantly "nagging" to him to make sure he's safe, questioning suspicious stuff he does (acting unnaturally, lying, disappearing for hours/days, changing his overall personality, etc.). I mean she put up with a lot and gave him a lot of chances to tell the truth. I can understand Walt's hesitation, but he walked into that one lol.
So far my favorite characters are probably: Hank, Jane's dad, and I think Don Salamanco is hilarious with that bell lol.
@PikminWorld: Have you finished the series? No?
Not yet, about halfway I'd say. Granted, I've had some big stuff already spoiled since the series has ended almost four years ago and people constantly talk about it.

Yes, the motives and the way the woman act are understandable, but the show is skewed towards Walter White, alot of the opening season is him set up as lifes punching bag and as he starts to become more and more alpha male it's appealing, especially to males. Even towards the end of the show when it tries to get you to dislike him, it's doesn't quite work. He's basically turned into a Macbeth you want to see win.

I just like taking playful jabs :P Dont take it seriously, people do it all the time while meaning no foul, no harm. *Jab* *Jab*
As to answer your other question. You have posted quite a few. Around 3 or so before you stopped.
@uninspiredcup: Yeah I can see that. I feel bad for Walt, he gets picked on for being "weak" by people like Hank, employers (kind of), and even students. Now he's beginning to enjoy the sort of natural freedom associated with the criminal life. Where I'm at he hasn't completely lost control over himself or his morality. Some of the bad decisions he's made usually make sense (not helping Jane, killing Crazy Eight, Tuco).
@jumpaction: Oh, I somehow forgot the insane and charming Saul. Guy is great, but it's hard to picture what an entire show devoted to him covers. I guess his shady past? It's really well done, I saw Bryan Cranston talk about the show once at this event and it was really interesting (he also just talked about acting and working in the arts).
@PikminWorld: I like Just Call me Saul. It's fun and definitely different. The background it gives you on Saul is great. You almost feel sympathetic for him.
@uninspiredcup: @jumpaction: Also, not sure how interested you guys are into DNA ancestry, but I was curious about where I come from for the most part (thought it was mostly Scotland/England due to the name on one side of my family and known history on the other. EDIT: Also forgot Germany lol). Got my results back from Ancestry, thought it was pretty interesting, if maybe a little disappointing in terms of something unexpected. :P Cropped the photo because it had some personal info on the page. Not sure what to think about the low confidence Asia Central lol.
@PikminWorld: That's very interesting! Why were you disappointed though? What were you expecting instead?
@PikminWorld: That's very interesting! Why were you disappointed though? What were you expecting instead?
Nah, wasn't expecting anything really. Just thought it'd be cool to see something completely unexpected (well depending on what that meant, considering this would be going back centuries and history is usually dirty lol).
@PikminWorld: Well it's nice that you took an interest in your family's past. :)
Did you come across any interesting figures in your family tree?

That's quite a soup. Most people are like that anyway aren't they? Can't speak for the English but 100% Scottish people who originally existed Caledonian/Pictish are basically watered out. Only thing left are a few stones, burial sites and jewellery.

Not yet, I haven't really explored the family branches aspect of Ancestry. I did it for most immediate family, but hadn't gotten much further than that. I forgot about the free trial though so I got charged with the full thing. Considering that, I better take advantage of the service lol. I may be related to some very old politician named Sam Houston who married a Cherokee woman and became a citizen of the tribe. He's actually pretty interesting, not entirely sure if I'm related though. The guy who collected the history of our family on one side didn't like that Sam married a Cherokee woman so he left him out of the family history. Not entirely sure of the validity of that, but I will look into it.
