Drew Murray leaves Xbox Game Studios to rejoin Insomniac Games

Drew Murray has rejoined Insomniac Games as a Principal Designer after being the Lead Designer and, Design Director of the upcoming Perfect Dark game from Xbox Game Studios.

He was likely brought back to work on Spiderman 2 and/or, other IP he's familiar with such as Sunset Overdrive and, Resistance.

And here i was hyped for a Perfect Dark reboot. Scalebound of the 9th gen incoming.

Wouldn't mind a Resistance reboot since I missed out on that series on PS3.

Sucks to hear the new Perfect Dark will likely be trash like Zero now that devs are jumping ship early in production. That's never a good sign.

lol.. right? People pick up stories about this guy that guy or the other and worry about what they're doing. Its a business and the big fish will send the smaller fish to swim in whatever pond they see fit even if that fish is the biggest minnow there, well, it means nothing to the sharks.

I only care about the games and not the egos behind them regardless of where it came from.

Never knew about this person's existence and have no love for Insomniac Games. Only clicked this shit to see if there was anything interesting about it. There wasn't.

But now I know there's this guy called Drew Murray who has worked on Spiderman (ew), Sunset Overdrive (don't care) and Resistance (lol). Great.

The Resistance series was a guilty pleasure for me. The story sucked and I also have a bad taste in my mouth from reading the video game novel. However, the gameplay was fun. Especially Resistance 2s multiplayer. As much as I like the series, I don't think it should make a comeback. Unless they just focus on multiplayer. That might work.

Next cows will claim his dog is cuter than Phil Spencer's dog and Xbox loses.
