Dreams Lives, PSX 2017

Remember Dreams, that art/creation game from E3 2015 made by Media Molecule and was supposed to have a beta like a year ago. Apparently it will have a presence at PSX next month

I think a lot of people are underestimating Dreams. That has the potential to be huge if Sony plays their cards right that is. Gotta appreciate new IP games. Only about a month till PSX, I wonder what else Sony has up their sleeve?

I knew it wasn't dead. Sony wouldn't just cancel MM's project like that.

Media Molecule are one of Sony's best and most talented devs. Sony will give them all the time they need like they do with ND.

Media Modicule has a great track record. I’m sure this will be good.

Atleast they have the balls to try something completely new unlike nintendo with mario 12364646 and microsoft.

Anyway, I'm not too familiar with Dreams but I just watched the trailer. It certainly looks very inspired and Media Molecule's games are always very charming. Will wait and see though because LBP 1 and 2 controlled quite poorly.

Noice. Very curious about this game. LBP was unique and absolutely LOVED Tearaway (Vita version > PS4 version). MM is the most creative Sony studio atm, so very curious to see how Dreams will end up

I believe nobody asked for Mario + Rabbids either but here it is, a game that sheep didnt even knew they wanted it until they got it.

But you're right, no one asks but Sony still delivers. What do sheep ask for? Yet another Mario? Yet another Zelda? Yet another Pokemon? Thats sad for a fanbase drown in nostalgia that want nothing more from their favorite company other then the same IPs over and over and over and over again

It's not really a "game" - or at least it wasn't in the earlier dev diaries about it. I don't think it's going to sell like hotcakes, especially to the brotastic segment of gamers. But I'm sure interested in the idea of being able to make art and make it "come to life" as a "game" of sorts. It seems like one of those programs you use for as long as you have the system - maybe sporadically, but it's always there for when the creative itch needs scratching

My current Avatar is Matoko Kusunagi from "Ghost in the Shell" Anime series.

It was delayed to become a VR game. I am 50/50 on it. Need to see more before I can say whether it will completely suck or not. Mainly because I am unsure what the hell it even is.

How many years was LittleBigPlanet a franchise before Nintendo finally got around to Mario Maker?

You shouldn't be saying anything. I can easily bring up the time you said Nioh and Nier wouldn't break 100k.

Mario Maker is actually the spiritual successor from Mario Paint from SNES many years ago, so therefore, it was Mario Paint that started it all before Sony got around to making Little Big Planet as far as editor level goes. Mario Paint was ahead of it's time however.
