Dragon Ball: Xenoverse 2 coming out this year! Woohoo!

I'll get it if they add any depths to that combat system and the last game's fine and everything, but I can't bring myself to play something similar again. I still enjoying watching Dragon Ball Z to this day, even I love the current movies but I just hope Xenoverse 2 adds something great then the last one and the characters customization was a welcome feature I enjoy, making a female saiyan was a fresh of breath air. Who am I'm kidding, I'll get it anyways cause hey, I love fighting games!

Would be cool if they could do a budokai and tenkaichi collection for ps4 after they do this. I would love to have all the ps2 dbz games in a collection.

I liked the last one but I hope they remove the generic rock music; Bruce Faulconer ain't dead.

It looks like you can fly around the world in this one and they added some new characters that weren't in the previous one like Dodoria and Zarbon

Budokai 3 tho, what a game.

I'm still waiting for Budokai 4.... Such a disappointment that they went away with the Budokai series.

I've been meaning to grab Xenoverse when I keep seeing it on sale. Maybe i'll grab it with this on release.

Not on last Gen too so I'm hoping for some real evolution for the series here. They better improve the combat and allow for some skill based gameplay. Tenkaichi 3 was the game that got so close to the anime I loved it.

Im happy they decided to keep going with this series. Heres hoping for certain improvements.

Xenoverse was good but it has nothing on the Budokai games. Too grindy and the gameplay wasn't that great.

No thank if the same horrible fighting system/style of combat.

Just about all the games were shit except Budokai 1-3, Tenkaich 2-3, Legacy of Goku 2. so only 6 games (all of which came out 10+ years ago) out of like 50 of them

I received the first Xenoverse as an Xbox Reward anniversary gift but I haven't played it yet, maybe I should. There's this game coming this month that reminds me of Dragonball or just any weeaboo or whatever style of game called One Piece: Burning Blood. It's a fighting game, there's a demo on the Xbox One and PS4 right now, so you weeaboo guys might want to check it out if you haven't yet and might like it until this new Xenoverse comes out.

After 24 hours of waiting, Namco Bandai’s latest surprise has been revealed: a current-generation exclusive, Dragon Ball Xenoverse sequel.

The trailer offers a glimpse at the newer, seemingly larger (likely due to the lack of previous-generation consoles holding the team back), hub world filled with different characters and a monument.

In terms of the story, Xenoverse 2 appears to sit comfortably in the “more of the same” category with players tasked with traveling through Dragon Ball history, past and future, going to key events and making sure they play out as they always have, or changing them if players see fit. The trailer also shows some moments from the Dragon Ball movies, so expect to see some familiar faces from that area of the franchise.

lol That like best one. watched my cousin burn his thumb off in that game lol Bring that dodge mechanic it had to open/semi open world setting and im its a day 1. Otherwise im tired of the sad attempts of dbz games. You can literally see through there directory that there still stuck fans out. Big as fan i am.. they need to make the games top notch too.

Can the finally add the Demon King Piccolo saga to this game? In almost every single game, Demon King Piccolo gets the shaft. Plus, it would be cool to have a Dragonball-era element in the game.

Beyond that, I would love to see some characters from Super like Champa, Hit, and Cabba join the playable roster.

I wonder if dragon Ball super story line is covered? Future trunks comes back in three more episodes for the next saga. Man, I love having new dragon Ball episodes every Saturday night.

I like the single player dbz I wasn't into the whole big MMO xenoverse im an old school dbz fan tho

@nethernova: It will probably explain aspects by purely replicating scenes beat per beat - but unless you're into the series, probably not worth picking up.

Namco might do a Tenkaichi HD Collection this gen, since they did Budokai last gen, so i guess we wait untill then.

Also, +1 for Tenkaichi 3.
