Does PS4 have any "must have" games?

The Wii U has at least 3 must haves, even xbox one has Sunset Overdrive, forza horizon 2, forza 5, and halo MCC.

What are the must have ps4 games? Just better looking multi plats I guess.

Personally, I feel sorry for people who missed out on Infamous SS. Lots of good games have been multiplat this year, so playing those on Gen 7 would be a bummer.

Multiplats like Diablo 3, The Last of Us and Metro Redux.

Infamous Second Son is a must try game, at least for its graphics and gameplay.

It's a shitty year for gaming all around and no must haves are releasing this year at all for me save for one game, Super Smash Bros Wii U, and even that series isn't my favorite, but in a terrible year I'll take it. I own Wii U, PC, PS3, 360, PS4, Xbone, 3Ds, and Vita...but it's been a bad year. I'm not looking forward to the end of year lineups for either Xbone or PS4. I didn't re-buy The Last of Us Remastered with DLC, I didn't rebuy Zelda Wind Waker HD, and I don't plan on re-buying Halo Master Collection as I already own those games. I'm on the fence with Sunset (Insomniac's hit or miss, case in point Resistance and Fuse), but Sunset is certainly not must have for me, same with LBP3. I don't do racers, so no Drive Club or Forza Horizon 2. Certainly was not interested in Gran Turismo or previous Forza games either. I didn't even care for Mario Kart 8.

Shout out to Wii U's 91/100 metascoring Bayonetta 2 as well. Xbone and PS4 have let me down this year when talking about "must haves". I did enjoy Shovel Knight and Infamous earlier this year, but I am not sure they are must have. It's subjective. There are plenty of games though.

If looking at total games, the PS4 has about 40 games more than Xbone. The Xbone has three game lead on exclusives. Current count as of 10/19/14:

PS4 Playable = 129 available to purchase (9 of these are exclusive to PS4)

Xbone Playable = 90 available to purchase (12 of these are exclusive to Xbone)

The premise of this thread is flawed. The Xbone and PS4 have no must have games, partially due to the shitty gaming year 2014 has been. It's been an atrocious year in gaming. If one machine has an advantage, it's the PS4 with it's nearly 40 games over the Xbone, but I own both machines and I am still playing last gen games and PC more than my new machines. Wii U sucked all year too, but at least I got two games to pick up with Smash and Bayonetta 2 releasing at the tail end of the year. You want to point the finger at no games, blame 2014 and blame the two newer next gen machines.

I think that more features and a better online network is more enticing than a miniscule difference in performance. Not even the PS4 can do every game in 1080p so why brag about it? That argument would have at least some validity if could play every game in 1080p but it can't because of it's fixed and limited console hardware. So arguing that crap makes you look like a fucking moron. There's only one platform that is capable of playing everything in 1080p and at 60fps and that's the PC.

No. A handful of games that impress... Second son is a solid B. transistor is fresh with excellent combat, albeit short and repetitive. There isn't a single now gen game I'd consider "must have".

Alright junior. Destiny runs in 1080p and 60fps on both systems and it's a vast open world MMO that just happens to be graphically impressive as well can you explain that? "Bu bu.." Just shut up and go hump your PlayStation I think that it may be getting lonely. lol

Frankly at this point, I don't find any of the systems to have an exclusive must have title. Infamous was fun, Killer Instinct would be fun and New Super Mario Bros 2 would be fun. Nothing exclusive has been must have this gen for me yet.

For me, Uncharted 4 marks the first must have title of this new generation. Others may prove themselves before that but right now Uncharted is at the top of the pile.

Ok I made an honest mistake with the 60fps but it doesn't in any way change the point that I was trying to make. It is a vast open world just Google it and take your pick from the many previews and reviews they all say the same thing.

unfortunately, the ps4 doesn't look worth owning anytime in the foreseeable future. i wish i had cancelled my preorder when i had the chance.
