Does modern warfare have the best “feeling” in any FPS ever?

Don't know as i haven't touch a CoD game in about a decade, and even then it was an older game and not the one due out that year lol.

Blops seems like a disappointment.

More than anything I'm disappointed in the lack of Vietnam levels.

Destiny had a pretty good feel to it if nothing else. I also liked Killzone 2.

How should I know? I haven't wasted money on a COD game since Modern Warfare 2. I found Battlefield 3 to be a more enjoyable experience but quit playing that series after the company decided to turn it into woke hot garbage. I gave up on COD when I realized it was going to be a new game every year only slightly different from the previous. Got tired of paying $60 yearly for expansion packs. I have played many, much better shooters since.

Bf5 felt better to me, but MW feels good...along with Destiny 2, Halo 5.....heck, there's really only games ported from pc that feel bad like PUBG or day z.

Modern warfare remastered is my all time favourite. Probably the best campaign to date. Cold War could possibly overtake it in my list from what I've seen.

No, warzone is good, but the standard mp sucks. I only use it to level new weapons.

I played one of those MW games when they were free at PS Plus , don't even remember which one ... was bored to death by its gunplay on the first couple of hours ... never touched it again.

Destiny 2 and CoD games have felt the best to me but there's a lot of fps games I haven't tried.

Killzone 2 and Halo are better.

No, MW had this halfassed feel to it, like it couldn't decide if it wanted to be Battlefield or CoD and got stuck in the shitty middle.

Halo, Wolfenstein, Doom are butter smooth.

I don't know about the best but it's sure as hell better than CoD Cold War... that much is certain.

COD gunplay never felt good to me ever. If we are strictly talking about MP games Batttlefield series guns always felt and sounded better then COD. As for a single player FPS I have yet to find a game that has more satisfying combat then F.E.A.R.

Its good by Call of Duty standards, but pretty average by FPS standards. Call of Duty has never had great gunplay.

play a Tripwire game if you want great weapon feel.

"feeling" is pretty subjective, but i do enjoy the new MW. Ironically its the first COD ive enjoyed since the original MW..

But im more a fan of arcade type shooters like, Halo, UT, Doom, Titanfall, Quake, OW, Painkiller, Wolfenstein, anyway.. but as far as a more millitary style shooter, Yeah MW feels pretty great. Enjoyed it more than BFV, and i was an avid BF fan before V. BF1 i started to lose interest in BF, EA man...

Nerds can hate all they want, but COD has the best gunplay of any FPS game in history. Nothing even comes close to its quality.

Are they the best FPS' ever? No... Other FPS' like Half Life, Half Life 2, Doom, Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, etc are all greater games but for other reason than gunplay. Half of them are outdated AF, and games like HL1-2, Bioshock, Bioshock Infinite are better games because of the story, voice-acting, sound design, original soundtracks, game direction, atmosphere etc.

In terms of pure gunplay, COD is absolutely unrivalled.

They made it feel like Battlefield, which is great. But I'm not blown away by it.

Tarkov feels the best as far as gunplay goes, but the movement in Tarkov kind of blows. I think BF5 feels the best overall, but MW does feel quite good in both movement and shooting this time around. CoD typically feels super arcadey and MW has less of that which is great, although I'm not a fan of the Usain Bolt running speeds.

I generally dislike CoD games but, yeah....COD: MW remake is pretty damn solid, through and through. Singleplayer, multiplayer, and battle royale. Controls are tight, balance between weapons and attachments is pretty good.

My only criticism is that you feel like you play to unlock stuff, not to simply play but whatever that's just how modern games are these days I guess.

The last time I played COD was the original Black Ops almost a decade ago. Me and my mates ended up spending more time playing the 2D run & gun shooter mini-game Dead Ops Arcade than the actual Black Ops game itself.

Despite all of its flaws, Destiny has hand down the best gameplay of an FPS this generation. The controls, gunplay, and character movements are fluid all around. Such a shame that the game has sh*t content.

This generation I would say Alyx. It more or less perfected VR controls for a FPS, minus a tiny quibble selecting weapon.

Basic stuff that makes sense others ignored. Like, why does the gun have to leave your hand? Just because it can? In retrospect, that shit was kind of stupid.

Or magnetizing the players hand as a mini-gravity gun, creating a flick of the wrist rather than awkwardly picking stuff up to create fluent uninterrupted action while still maintaining physical interactivity.

The jank associated with VR is basically non-existent. And once you've experienced a FPS in such a manner, going back to a crosshair planked on the middle of your screen, pressing a button to activate stuff and general lack of interactivity and flat plane aiming feels antiquated.

I enjoyed MW a lot so I say yes. I usually cannot play fps for long and I generally dislike shooter but MW was quite a fun game. The map design is a bit weird tho idk so many paths to take and in some maps its so small you will get shot the moment you respawn. Destiny is my other pick, loved that game.

First of all, not even close.

Second of all, depends on what you prefer. If you want realism, CoD is probably one of the worst things to play. If you want a more arcadey feeling.. there's still better stuff than CoD.
