Do you thinks Watch Dogs will get less than a 8?

I got this strange feeling gamespot is giving it around 7.5 maybe an 8..,,I can definetly be wrong, I just have a strange feeling. Regardless I'm buying don't care if it gets a 5

My opinion is Watch Dogs is overly hyped and I think it will be overated when released.

I'd go with a 8. Driving looked terrible and I've heard the story sucks.

I have the same feeling. I think its a good game and I have it pre-ordered but I'm still skeptical I'm thinking of not picking it up on release day and seeing what people say about it. Most likely if it gets a really bad review then I may just switch my pre-order to something else

Depends who reviewing it. If it's an excitable 14 year old boy like Shaun McInnis who arrived at work with his Thomas The Tank lunchbox, then it will probably get a very high score. If it is someone who an adult mind who has experienced life like Kevin VanOrd or Carolyn Petit then chances are it will be more objective and a much better review designed for people who have developed some form of chest hair.

I'd go with an 8 here and an 8.5 on IGN.

They'll give it an 8.0 almost guaranteed. It's too much of a hyped title to score it low, and not enough of a big boy to give it a 9.0 like GTA.

It was the same with Wolfenstein and that game turned out amazing... Dunno, sometimes it's a bad sign, sometimes it's not.

7 is a good possibility. im just hoping its fun...i bought a ps4 day one just because of this game

My friend, while people such as myself, incredibly mature mentally, who respect, rather than attack her for her choice of lifestyle and views are a minority, it doesn't make the majority right. This is little people thinking, not big boy logic.

It really doesn't mean anything, and it's a standard Ubisoft practice with all their games.

Knowing Gamespot, a 7 is not out of the question, especially if the "wrong" reviewer gets to do it. I'm thinking it could get a 9, because lately UBI have surprised me a bit, but UBI is huge now and they probably threw tons of $$$ at this game. But then again if it is too generic, and considering how GTA5 was pretty cool with its 3 main characters, it could easily get an 8 too.

Na I think otherwise. I think too much hype built up around the game, sony and ubi did closed playtests, and the feedback was negative. I think thats why it was delayed.

It will get 9, I bet. It's not average looking and it's a new IP.

Any hype or interest I had about the game died a few weeks ago during the downgrade debacle. I've barely watched any videos of the game since then due to not caring anymore. It seems like every game actually worth caring about on next gen consoles is getting delayed to 2015 anyways.

What exactly looks bad about this game from a game play perspective?

No higher than an 8, unless the critic reviewing it wants to get fired, it is forbidden for open world games that contain a city, weapons and vehicles but the lack the title 'Grand Theft Auto' to score higher than an 8.

It all depends on how they score it. If they simply say it is a prettier GTA clone, then yes, I can see it getting a 7. But if the game brings new elements to that genre, plus the new visuals of PC, X1 and PS4, then I say it should get atleast an 8!

I believe it will get 8 and 9 in most places, and like an 8.8 metascore.

7 I think it will get, I'm sorry but the game looks like it has had a downgrade and it was delayed!!! I mean sometimes delays are good, and other times it mean's the game just sucks, not loving the graphics anymore and the car handling is meant to be bad, and i've heard alot of the missions are the same old over and over, for me I think the hype just went out the window each week after tons and tons of gameplay clips were shown and then get's delayed and now were shown worse graphics a little disheartened, i may still pick it up tho, i do have it pre ordered to go pick up, haven't paid for it tho.

You know the strangest thing about maturity? The older and more mature you get, the less you want to be reminded of it.

I suspect that you are actually a teenager (an immature early twenties at the most), as this tends to be the age group who want to be mature but are in fact anything but.
