Do you think they should remake Halo 1 and 2?

After finishing the Reach campaign, I was definitely interested in going back and replaying Halo 1 and 2. Haven't played them in quite some time, but I'd like them to be on the 360. They wouldn't have to rewrite the game, just update the graphics, etc. I think a lot of people would buy it. Worked well for God of War when they released 1 and 2 for the ps3. Who's with me?

you can still play them now,graphics aren't everthing you know,i still enjoy halo ce more than reach

I would buy Halo and Halo 2 remake if they offered online. Online alone would be the selling point. Reach is terrific, but honestly, Halo 2 had the best damn multiplayer I've ever played.Stevo_the_gamer

They are both already playable on the 360 with the limited BC on 360 being extended to those games, but I'd enjoy it. PS3 has been getting all the good HD remakes, I'm sure two Halo remakes with some achievements and HD would be stellar, it would also be itneresting to hear what remake hating lems would have to say for themselves.

yep. for two reasons:

1. I would like to own the two games. asI've only played them through borrowing orfrom playing them at myfriend's house years ago. andI only put off buying them because Iswear a remake will happen.money would feel wasted if these later versions restored an online mode for CE/2. and with better graphics.

2. 343 Industries needs to start somewhere(an actual game, not a Halo APP/Anime), and this would be perfect.

That would be a huge waste of resources. The games still play great for their age. Changing a few things up isnt really worth the time and money.

Only if they significantly reworked Halo 2's campaign/storytelling.

Not remake them, but remaster them in HD and release them on XBLA. Knowing M$, this is asking for far too much though.

You can play them on 360 because it actually has BC. No need to pay if you already have the game. themyth01

They should remake them on the 3ds.....im serious, the 3ds would be able to handle the remakes, halo on the go, and with some slick 3d effects and depth perception would be pretty sick. I know it wont happen but it would be awesome.

now that you mention it. I remember the ghosting from a couple mission starts.

but it wasn't that bad.

I remember loading saved games too. those took forever, but I wouldn't know if it was the same thing with the original Xbox.
