And would you be for this idea?? There are tons of SNES games that could benefit a revisit. Plus if it is hooked up to wifi...how cool would that be, eh??

What do you think??

I hope so! I'd get it, I've always been more for SNES than NES, which is too old for me to really enjoy outside of a handful of games

I've still got my old snes from 1992 when i was 5, with a ton fo the games, so I wont need it. It'll be great for a new generation to play a bunch of those games.

Considering SNES was the best system (imo), they almost have to have it. It has some of the best games ever made on it.

NES>>>>360/PS3/PS4/Xone/Any Nintendo console post SNES.

Anyway, If Nintendo makes a SNES mini, it better support cartridges and digital games. Of course that's not going to happen so f u Nintendo.

The SNES was my first console. If Nintendo are smart, they will continue to make these things. There is a demand for them.

I will be all over a SNES version.

My brother in law wanted an NES classic for Christmas. He's not a gamer, but since Nintendo is either incompetent or underhanded and left the market in short supply, I found out about the Retropie option.

Because of Nintendo's lousy business practices, they'll never sell me any of their retro consoles now or in the future. Well done, Nintendo.

If they make it we better hope each store can get more than 1-2 of them so people actually can buy if they want to...

The NES classic released with no less than 30 games, 50KB each. Knowing Nintendo they'll milk out the remaining 700 NES games first.

And how could they get the remaining 700 when licensing is a major pain in the ass and after the likes of AVGN came along, who even wants all those games re-released?

Given how successful the NES Classic Edition has been, Nintendo would be stupid not to make a SNES Classic. It will likely be even more popular than the NES Classic. I hope Sony and Sega see the money that can be made from this and release their own Classic Edition retro consoles as well.

I want Nintendo to release a SNES Classic this holiday season and then a N64 Classic next holiday season. I want Sony to release a PS1 Classic and I want Sega to release a Genesis Classic and a Dreamcast Classic. I would buy all of them.

Dont be a fanboy. The NES was revolutionary and started some of the biggest names in gaming, but saying its better than anything post NES is wrong. Especially when considering things like the 3DS, which has most of the classics on it.

I was exaggerating with the 700 games but they could've done better than the 30. I do view them as the greediest of the 3.

I could cook a hamburger faster than it would take for that blueberry thing to arrive in the mail and then for me to figure out all the pc nonsense to put a game on it.

Reading the instructions alone would take longer than cooking a burger, which takes what, 3-5 minutes?

If you want to make a really good hamburger you need more time, i.e. prepare the meat ;)

I'm not being a fanboy. N64 was passable, but NES and SNES were Nintendo's best consoles.

Nah, for an SNES fix I'd sooner download an emulator and ROMs onto my PC and buy an 8BitDo SNES controller.

Based on the success of the NES classic, it would seem like a no-brainer for Nintendo to release an SNES classic but again, it is Nintendo so you never know what they're going to do next.

I could see it happening

Would maybe be interested depending on what games they include and if they, you know, actually stock the damn thing. I will say a SNES sounds a lot cooler than an NES classic.

Nintendo fans love re-buying shit, so YES!.
