Do you think Atomic Heart will be another unexpected 10/10 after Deathloop?

Atomic heart is another new IP along with Deathloop that is on my radar and premise of Atomic heart is far more interesting i mean its STALKER/Metro mix with System shock whats not to like. its Soviet System shock game. although developers are relatively unknown and its their debut project.

Arkane was known developer but in this case developers are relatively new. although I hope some people already worked on STALKER and Metro at some point.

Age of new IPs upon us. Deathloop become 10/10 the first ever mid tier FPS got 10 in history. Next upto Atomic heart.

according to dev, Atomic heart is finished and in polishing phase. it could come out at the end of the year or early 2022.

so friends, will this game has chance to be another 10/10? I hope so. its looks even more interesting than Deathloop despite Arkane track record is obviously better.

Atomic Heart actually does look good. Its definitely one I have my eye on.

Absolutely. only game that looks better than Atomic heart is STALKER 2. it looks better than any of upcoming release.

Yes what I have seen so far of STALKER 2 looks good too. Ill wait for opinions from friends on Steam though before buying any of them. Journo scores have a tendency to be motivated by politics, their opinion of art and what company the website has an ad deal with.

STALKER 2 wont be as good as STALKER 1 shadow of chernobyl. maybe better than clear sky and COP. but it wont be better than original SOC.

I didnot liked dialouge cutscene in STALKER 2. and I hope its very minimal. and modding play major part. thats the only negative thing about STALKER 2 so far.

Atomic Heart looks like game that is exactly made for me.

beside Deathloop developers doesnot have budget and mid tier. Bethesda promote their own develop game more than thier publish game otherwise Doom eternal would get 10 from everywhere because it is perfect 10/10 game.

Will be full of jank, but more importantly: it'll be fun. Unlike 90% of AAA games out there.

I'm excited for Atomic Heart for sure. The game looks like a good mix of STALKER, Bioshock/System Shock, and Fallout. I'm interested in seeing the world they built. All the trailers I have seen make it look really intriguing and weird which I like.

To be honest, I'd be surprised if Gamespot reviewed it.

It's on console.

As stupid as that sounds, if it was PC only, it probably would get totally ignored.

Likewise with Flight Simulator. Only reason reviewed because Microsoft behind it and Xbox logo.

GS will give it Age of empire 4 9/10. a PC exclusive.

The only strategy games they will review are A) Anything Blizzard B) Civ and C) Total War

Basically the Publishers with the pennies. As with most game coverage.

It's better now, primarily due to the likes of Steam word of mouth and alternative media on Youtube and what not.

A review from the likes of SsethTzeentach can instantly give a game wholly ignored, instant flood of sales. As confirmed by the developers themselves.

I mean looks bizarre and worth trying. Not sure how I feel about playing with Russian audio and reading subtitles, but I won't let that stop me if I hear people have good things to say about it. But if there's supposed to be lots of nuanced tongue-in-cheek humor baked into this I feel most of it will be lost on me without a decent audio localization effort.

Deathloop is good, but lets not get carried away here.

It does look cool but I'll reserve my judgement until I try it.

I have been following this game for a while. It does look good, but no way will it be a 10/10.

I predict the game will be bad. Too many red flags and weird things regarding this games development. I hope I'm wrong because it looks really interesting, but that e3 trailer looks more like a demo reel of someone's 3D modelling/animation work, not an actual game.

Only possible 10/10s on the near horizon are Elden Ring and God of War: Ragnarok.

played horrizon 1. its trash. typical ubisoft open world game ala far cry clone.
