I decide generationally.... This gen I've rolled with Sony, because the vita and cross buy are rad and Sony does indies right...

Last couple gens, I liked xbox consoles most.

I'm loyal to old Nintendo, but they died :(

Online, Xbox (my friends and family are on it)

Hardware, PC (you can build to whatever specification you like)

Win 10.

None of them they all impose DRM

I have no opinion on Sony or Nintendo.

I think Microsoft should either get serious about listening to PC gamers, or focus on improving Windows and DirectX and get out of the way. I have no opinion on the XBox.

I merely tolerate Steam. As long as they keep the Offline Mode and backup feature, they will continue to be my predominant place for buying my games... ...that aren't available on GOG.

I am forced to use Steam DRM for most of my games

I typically use Steam or GOG if I can't get it straight from the dev.

I have a PS4 but it got put in the closet after Bloodborne; back out briefly for Ratchet and Clank.

Nintendo is interesting but too gimmicky. I want to play the new Zelda and Xenoblade but I don't know if I ever will.

Xbox is uninteresting.

Nintendo used to make the best games, but whatever, I'm losing my patience with them now.

Sony are the best ones right now, but I was all aboard the Microsoft train last generation.

Back on topic. Nintendo, Sony, Steam for me.

1. Nintendo-I'm a Nintendo handheld fanboy and I do love my new 3DS more so then ever before with over 15 digital games to play and they make the best handheld games in the world.
2. Sony-Sony has come a long way and this gen, they really put more into there PS4 with good games to play and well earn it too.
3. Steam-no explanation is needed.

A few years ago steam, now it's a big scam fest from Valve.

Either Microsoft steps it up with the Xbox or just merge Windows with the Xbox brand and be done with it.

With that said the pecking order is

1. Steam
2. Nintendo
3. Sony
4. Xbox

Steam (a long way in first) then Sony. Unlike last gen only bothering with one console, there aren't enough or quality of exclusive to make me buy more.

Have had zero issues and no crashes, WTF CA this isn't what we expect of you?!?!? The addition of flying units and magic does change how you play, loving it so far!

Not steam per se, but PC by far. For now & the foreseeable future. It has given me the most enjoyment this gen. Plus, I like the freedom of choice.

Last gen I was primarily an Xbox 360 gamer since launch. Started liking the PS3 a bit when Uncharted 2 came out, and I absolutely loved The Last of Us.

Nowadays, I don't like to be tied down to any of the Big three (Ninety, Sony, or Microsoft). I don't see how anyone could be a "fanboy" for any of these companies these days for various reasons. Times have changed. I haven't been a fan of Sony since the PS2 days (PS3 was awful until 2010, imo), and Microsoft lost me near the end of last gen (The Kinect days). I haven't really been a fan of Nintendo since the Gamecube. But, this doesn't mean I don't enjoy any of their exclusive offerings nowadays. I'm just not a fanboy waving a flag for any of these companies. I'm not a kid anymore, and I can see them for what they are just companies for profit. Which isn't a bad thing.

If they offer a product that's good and appeals to me, I buy it, if not? I don't. Simple as that.

Sony and Steam. I'm not gonna decide between the two because I'm not a scrub who can only have one of these goodies.

I'm kinda jelly because my rig can't handle that yet, I really need that 1070 fast lol.

Nintendo for games, Sony for hardware.

I prefer Playstation. I have no problem with Steam. I'm giving Nintendo one last chance with NX. I don't buy Xbox products.

phyiscal copy in 2016 is just stupid. what if your copy broken? what if stolen? what if its lost? you loss your money

Steam doesn't charge me $60 a month to play online and gives me cheaper games. Not sure what the console manufacturers have to compete with that other than whoring developers to make exclusives.

Microsoft offered BC and Sony didn't, but Microsoft otherwise f***ed up so hard with the Xbox One so it's a wash.
