Do you plan to buy Xbox Scarlett,PS5,both or none???

Just the PS5. I have a PC for any Xbox games.

I'm pretty much content with my PS4. As for myself getting a PS5, it's hard to say right now. If Sony justify it enough, I can see it being likely. If PS4 launch was anything to go by, Sony needs better games at launch. I take that back, after Sony releasing PS4 Pro 500 million limited edition, I'll never buy a day one console ever. I'm gonna wait for LE consoles for now on.

As for Xbox Scarlett, I have a PC for everything and that includes playing MS games on it. No point in me buying MS consoles ever again. Truth be told, I'll buy next-gen Nintendo console day one whenever they are ready for next-gen.

Voted: "I'll pass on both and stick with my PC/Nintendo/Google consoles" as it's the closes thing to an actual answer.

Probably nah. Nothing against consoles, just that PC is enough for me. Don't really need more.

At this stage, I plan to get Project Scarlett (eventually).

But like I've said before, my main priority would be a Switch "Pro", if we ever see one.

Right now I plan to get the Scarlett at launch and I’ll get a PS5 later on down the road.

The PS5 to complement my PC. I have all of the PS4 exclusives to go through since I didn't get a console this gen, so it seems like it might be worth it to actually pick this one up.

I'll probably get a PS5, at some point. But will probably get a Switch first.

Last-gen BC to tide you over to an influx of current-gen titles... Nice move. I fall into the hype far too much, though I always revolve around my PC.

I'll say that certain titles are worth it... Though hopefully with upgrades. Bloodborne needs a terrible fix for frame-timing.

That's what I've heard. Hoping that the PS5 hardware allows for a bit more fps stability? We'll see, but I do remain hopeful.

I tried to go back and play the game, and gave up in the first hour. Hopefully Sony learn from MS in this instance, and introduce next/late-gen patches.

Yeah this is the smart approach imo, best time to jump into a new generation is somewhere in the middle. Console redesigns are out which are cheaper, there's a ton of games which are down in price too and also you'll have a clearer idea of which way the wind is blowing with regards to the system that is going to edge ahead and get the most support.

So similarly, I think I'll sit it out and not buy any new hardware either. Unless a Super Nintendo Switch comes out naturally.

i was originally going to get the PS5 no matter what but now im not so sure yet..

i need to see how the PS5 controller will look like and if the system will have Full BC

because as of right now im leaning more towards the Scarlett because 1) That elite series 2 controller is 🔥

and 2) the scarlett will have full BC

I intend to play through my backlog and eventually buy a new console towards the end of next gen when the hardware is cheaper and the systems will have a consolidated library of exclusives, big and interesting enough to warrant a purchase.

I will need 2 of each, and a third of which ever one I like more for the theater room. Xbox won this round, but I’m always open for a change.

Playstation 5 day 1 for sure. My PC can tackle everything else and if Switch doesn't release a Pro version I'll stick to Yuzu/Cemu emulation.

I really need to wait and see. I think traditional consoles are losing more and more appeal to me - I'm much more interested in picking up my Switch these days than the DS4. But I'm open to any compelling gaming experience. If one of them makes a good pitch to me, sure I'll buy it.

PS5 day one. I'll probably get the new Nintendo console. Not sure if I'll get a Scarlett unless MS has some worthwhile exclusives.

I’m gonna hold off for a few years. I’m good with my pc and Switch. Also the ps4 has my blu ray needs covered. I seriously might make the ps5 the first sony console I don’t own. The ps4 has been really disappointing. Crappy UI with forced ads that require online is something I can’t get used to after using the Switch and PC. I juse wanna see my games and play them and put the console to sleep and awake easily. Also it’s such a pain to turn off the controller which makes it a terrible choice for me to use it as a blu ray player but it’s the only one I own. Will sell my ps4 soon so it stops collecting dust.

PS5 when there's enough exclusives to warrant a purchase and when GTA 6 is announced also I'm going to upgrade my PC for next gen.

I'll buy a PS5, I'll wait to see if I should buy one at launch or not. Owning a gaming-capable PC, there's no reason for me to invest in another Xbox console at all.

PS5. Will also get PSVR 2. Xbox will remain on my laptop.

I will definitely buy the next xbox. Microsoft's ecosystem has been the best for my son and I to share games. I will always prefer Microsoft's controllers.

If the PS5 is 100% backwards compatible with ps4 games then I'll probably get it aswell soon after release. I've always been the guy who owns all consoles. I sold my ps4 when the ps4 pro was announced with intentions to get the ps4 pro. That never happened and the closer the ps5 is to release, it makes picking up a ps4 pro a bad idea.

Definitely buying ps5. Used to buy xbox for collecting reasons but I upgraded my pc recently and had tons of fun playing forza horizon 3 so will probably skip xbox next gen.

Might get PS5 if Sony/devs update their PS4 games to run at 60fps on it.

PS5 day one, and a Scarlett whenever I feel like it (maybe launch maybe not), to go with my Switch, Stadia, and anything else that releases.

A Scarlett but much later than I did with Xbox One. Reason being is I already have a high end PC 8th gen i7 and RTX 2080. I'm already in the 'next gen'.

I'll buy a 9th gen console at launch....which one is actually in Sony's hands. PS5 would be a no brainer if i could play all my ridiculously good PS4 library on it organically (no emulation or service).

I like the look of the ps5 it sounds like a powerhouse but the launch titles will be important. If there is a horizon 2 available around the launch then it will be difficult to not bite. The Scarlett needs games not just multiplayer they need good single player games. Probably won't get both at launch.
