Do you own multiple consoles this gen?

Xbox One X, PS4-Pro, Switch. 99.9% of the time I game on the X, I got the Pro strictly for Playstation/3rd party exclusives(like many people here) that might interest me from time to time such as Detroit and GOW.

Switch I got it only for portable gaming, got several games on it too mostly Indies. I refuse to game on mobile phones basically.

I owned all system each gen since the Dreamcast. The Staurn is the "newst" system I only got after its gen was over. Speaking of the main systems of course, i don't have an Ouya for example.

PS4, PS3, and PS Vita. Switch comes next. I have no need to buy an Xbox1. I'd rather cop a 360 tbh lol

Console wise i have a switch, a wiiu (are they the same gen? was that ever settled? are well calling gens done yet?) and a 3DS.

I had a vita but sadly it died.

there isnt anything tempting me to get an xbox one. i have thought about a PS4 but at this stage i think im just going to hold off until the PS5 comes then play PS4 games on that.

my backlog is currently huge so im in no rush to get more games. i got etrian odyssey nexus for the 3DS there so thats another big game to add to the pile. man that system keeps on trucking.

Best combo you can get out of this gen. That's all the above 3 you'll need & plus, playing MS games on PC is a bonus I say.

I have them all, but the only ones that I get any fun out of are my PC and PS4.

I've been comboing PC + Sony consoles since the PS2 and it seems like a winning combination (with PC getting the vast majority of my gaming time).

Nintendo exclusives have never appealed to me, previous gens I felt I was missing out on some Xbox stuff but now it comes to PC as well.

No I own a PS4 but last gen I skipped consoles all together I was strictly a PC gamer Sony won me back this gen. But if it's true that Sony is going to focus more on MP gaming and not exclusive SP games I will have no problem skipping PS5 and upgrading my PC for next gen.

All 3 systems are represented in my house. I honestly only play on my X1 though as I just haven't felt like relocating the PS4 from my son's room and I really have no excuse for not trying the Switch yet.

I typically own all each gen. Some may say it's silly but it's a hobby for me and they really don't cost much. I bounce around from system to system depending on what and how I want to play.

(2) XBox One X (one for me and one in my son's room),

PS4 Pro,

Switch

Wii U -Switch has replaced its use

2 x Vita's, one for me and one for son - Son uses his but the Switch has replaced mine

I also have my gaming PC. It's an older 2016 build but still cranks most games at Ultra @3440x1440 (i7 6700K, GTX1080, both underwater on custom loop with EK blocks, 32G DDR4, 2xSamsung TB EVO SSD's)

False statements? I am sorry but the amount of games that struggle to maintain 30FPS is the definition of shit hardware.

I tried playing Metro Exodus at 4K 30FPS with Extreme settings and RTX on Ultra which is higher than X1X settings and just couldn't do it even with controller hooked up on my 4K QLED TV.... Just doesn't feel responsive, now God forbid I had console performance where framerates drop to the mid 20's often.

I reverted back to High settings and RTX on High at 1440p and got a solid 60-75FPS.

My kiddos play the Switch or I would have already gotten rid of it.

Yeah, well, multiple platforms. PC and PS4. I don't regret buying the PS4 but I probably wouldn't do it again. Outside of Horizon: Zero Dawn, it is the epitome of "overrated".

PS4 is the only console I've ever owned, I just bought it a month ago, and after the novelty of Spiderman wore off, it's been collecting dust. I've played Horizon: Zero Dawn before on a borrowed PS4 and that was fun, but I will take my PC any day of the week, just like I have for the past 30 years.

PS4 only has exclusives a few times a year, Xbox is pointless with their new business model..."just lol" if you own any console. Except maybe a Switch, because that is actually a fairly original product.

Normally I have all consoles, but it hasn't been worth it yet this gen. PS4 has dominated. Though I'm sure I'll scoop up a switch, perhaps when the "pro" model or whatever comes out. I'm leaning towards not bothering with the Xbone hardware at all. Esp if next gen comes in the next year or two, probably won't have time. I wouldn't rule out a next gen Xbox, but for me to get it at launch would take Sony screwing up something or delivering a worse value.

He is playing at over 60fps at 1440p with RTX on. That is not shit. X1X can't even do 1080p/60fps with no RTX and is limited to 30fps. Now that is shit.

Pretty sure next gen is announced this year released in 2020. The switch doesn't have enough for me to pick one up. I'm surprised in myself that I still haven't got a PS4 time will tell on that.
